Hi guys,

I just wanted to check 2020 timelines. Is the 6-month timeline is realistic with COVID-19?
When do the 6 months start and what will I see as the next steps? Here are my details:

Stream: FSW, Passport: India, Residence: Australia
NOC: 6314
ITA: August 2nd, 2020
e- APR: September 22nd, 2020
AOR: September 22nd, 2020

Would appreciate your comments. Thanks :)

Six months won't happen. I would personally plan on 8-12.
 
Chances of another lock down in Canada.
A realistic time line to me looks like 12-16 months unfortunately. Hate to be so skeptic and would love to be wrong.

Another lockdown is definitely coming. You may be very right about the processing times and I was trying to be optimistic. But what you've posted is probably closer to the truth of what is going to happen.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that. It seems it's going to be a long waiting game now.
 
Hi Guys,

I completed my application on 8th Jan 2020, Biometrics done on 27th Jan still awaiting COPR. Is there anyone on the forum who are seeing this kind of delay in the approval process. There has been no request for additional documents or any kind of update from ircc. And on sending request for application update via webform i got standard response that they are still working on the application.
Do you think i should be worried or has the covid situation affected the immigration this bad?

Is this because of COVID? nothing else would make sense
 
My AOR with FSW inland is April 27th 2020 and no one has touched my file since July 2020 and still no COPR.

Are you inland or outland? which visa office is your application at? some offices are slow as well.
