Fairly new to this forum and I'm getting quite confused with all the abbreviations & application steps...
What exactly is PPR, MR etc..? (i know PCC is police clearance cert)

So I have paid my RPRF, submitted my medical check & PCC.

CIC status is : Decision Made
Latest Update is : We sent you correspondence on June 8, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

The letter I received just asked for original passport & photos to be submitted that's all. And it clearly states that "This letter is not a guarantee that a visa will be issued to you."

So I'm really confused. Does that mean my PR is still not yet approved? Or it has been approved and sending my passport to them is just to process the approval?

Would appreciate any replies, thanks!

Helllo! Well, abbreviations are as follows,

PPR = Passport request and MR = Medical request.

However, Usually after getting positive medical reports along with any subsequent documents by VO, they usually send passport request (PPR) and your 8th June correspondence acknowledged that they've sent you PPR on that day and at the same time also on eCas they update as "Decision Made". So now they are waiting for your passports to issue the PR visa. So, send accordingly and you are very close to get the PR Visa. So no need to be confused. And regarding "Visa Guarantee" -- it is their usual letter format, they keep this clause because if there is any issue arise during eleventh hour so that they can change their mind and refuse your application but I think this is least chance.

Regards

Wow that's a really helpful summary! thanks a bunch! :) :)

Assuming that I send my passport in and they issue my PR visa, do I need to be in Canada within a certain period of time?

Receipt of RPRF would have number starts with RXXXXXXXX, which you can use for login(receipt number) on your eCas and able to see the status that says CIC have received your payment and other documents. they will not update on receipt of your document any time.

hope this helps.

I have "SUCCESSFULLY LINKED" my paper based FSW 2014 application. Points to note
1. Here is the link "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp" Click continue to GC key if you dont have an acct with their sign-in partners yet.
2.You get this page > "https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s2d8cfece0a11dbf2e924637c9437cc7c61b8e5cd7" by clicking Continue GC KEY

3.Under "Simple Secure Access" Click Create an acct and u get this page > https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/rg?execution=e1s2
4. Remaining process is seamless.
5.After Creating ur profile with all sorts of security questions, to link ur acct ur IELTS "Test Report Form Number" @ d bottom of the TRF and"Date U took the Test" @ d top I used my 2013 IELTS Test report in my case :-[

Hope this helps someone to see their status too in comparison with GCMS notes :)

Are you sure you keyed in all details correctly? I had to do it so many times. Most especially because I had not gotten my IELTS test report form number correctly and I had two examination dates (one for speaking and another one for writing). But in the end, when I got all my details right, it said my application has been linked to an account. I then realised, it was linked to my agent/representative. :D

Thanks brother for this tip, now I can login in my ECAS with RPRF receipt. I think it is a kind of Acknowledgement of my document, I am checking regularly and they definitely done this today.
