Thanks for your response. I didn't understand as you said "they have sent AOR through normal post not in your email address". I didn't receive any email from them & that's why I sent them an inquiry on 30 Nov & they replied me on 1 Dec. Nevertheless, if I consider that I got AOR from them already, what would be the date for it?

I am enlisted as 'Basharbd' in the global SS & you can find my timeline there. I don't know how to update this in this forum.

I don't think you need to worry as SGVO informed you that your file is in the queue for further review. What i understood is the visa officer who will review your file may be didn't finish other files. So your file is still in the queue. So i suggest you wait this month & in January you ask for your application status again through CSE.

I am a 14th May 2133 SGVO Applicant. Received my AOR on 26th September 2014. And still there is no second line updates and also no medical request.

Am wondering how CIC is processing files and am getting a bit anxious now by seeing people getting updates for later date applications.

Any comments or thoughts.

No brother i didn't receive AOR. Why you are feeling low. Just use the CSE. You'll know the status. If i don't receive within the next week i'll go for CSE.

GCMS notes received, finally

Finally, I have received my GCMS notes that have turned out to be not so helpful. Here is why.....

My friend in Canada requested for my notes on my behalf on Sept29-2014. Apparently, those guys were quick to handle the request and generated the GCMS notes on Oct1-2014. I know this because each of the 47 pages in the PDF file has the time stamp of Oct1-2014. In other words, my GCMS notes were ready on Oct1-2014 already!

But they intentionally (perhaps?) delayed the delivery to make it one month's time before sending the notes to my friend; exactly on Oct29-2014. I have no idea why they waited exactly one month before mailing to my friend. I don't want to speculate.

This is the middle of December already. I have received it this late only because my poor friend did not realize that the PDF file was sitting in his mail box for 43 days (Oct29-Dec12)!! Poor me too!

According to the second line in my E-CAS status, CIC started processing my application on Oct28-2014. Since all information in the PDF file was from dates prior to Oct1-2014, it is no surprise that important dates in the PDF file are blank. I will have my friend apply again because I need data on what happened after processing began on Oct28-2014.

Only useful information so far in my notes is the total number of points rewarded during eligibility checking. There is a due date mentioned which equals my PER date + 365 = June11-2015. This is a default date given to everyone using the formula "PER date + 365"

An interesting point is that GCMS notes include records on my past application that I sent a very very long time ago, when I was in my adolescence, when electronic mails were not easily affordable/famous, when people would send letters by licking stamps and placing on physical envelopes, when Bangladesh was only 5 years old in the cyber world.....


Lesson learned:
It may be wrong to hold the impression - "GCMS notes take time to arrive, so I better apply for it now, no matter what stage my application is now at". I would recommend applicants to apply for GCMS notes (if you want to apply at all) only AFTER your second line is added which means AFTER your processing starts. Sometimes they do not add the second line even after processing has started. In those cases, I think applicants should wait for a reasonable amount of time before deciding to go for GCMS notes.

Thanks for your reply. Waiting is killing me. An email about AOR would have been helped me be patient this time. However, what is your conclusion about my current status? Has the local VO started processing my file and taking time to come to a decision?

is it ok? why they are not just sending the file transferred mail for confirmation? If otherwise shouldn't it be noted mean while? I am in dilemma whether I should wait more time or send CSE mail to them? :'(

Buddy, count me also...I am on the same NOC as yours and 28 MAY applicant...no news for 2nd line or MR yet...I think Finance related NOCs are the most unfortunate & less preferred for now...
