Sorry i have not been in touch recently, just wanted to not raise a false alarm until everything is 100% sure. Ok so here is the news...

After 15 and a half months since application received by CIC, today, August 20th 2015, I am able to see my much awaited visas. The feeling is soooo good. Many thanks to everyone who was with me during the tough time. May god bless you all.

P.S I have updated the SG spreadsheet. Woohoo am flying now.

Have not logged in for a while. I have landed in Calgary last July 28. Its nice and sunny here now. All paperworks are done, working for same company as in Singapore. Waiting for my drivers license gdl exemption result, applied at local school waiting result, got healthcard, waiting pr card, bought a car! All is good. Canada is waiting for u guys. Keep the spirit up. Cheers

Does everyone who used consultant can see both mailing and resident address???? i can see both from last few days, though no 2nd line. Is that a good sign of changed address in ecas??? please response. thanks

Yes, its a difference between old SLU and new SLU.

It is also true that SGVO not updated it for all. This is also a difference.

May Allah(SWT) make our dream fulfilled.

My ECAS status was conventional until my MR, Now they changed it to the new format.

Dear forum mates,
please update your profile NOC with profession name. Just using only NOC code in profile can't help others to understand you have applied from which profession.It is not possible to remember 50 professions as per NOC Code. So if anyone gets updates in Ecas, others can't understand his profession. Eventually can't understand which profession CIC is now giving priority. Since this forum has been made to help each other, i believe that my proposal should be cordially accepted by all. Look at my profile on left and follow. (HRM).

mdgr bhai, u got MR on 18.8.15 and up to MR stage your new Ecas format showing how many lines and what are those? ? ?

There is no good or bad in address update. CIC has updated mailing and residential addresses of all applicants in this month. It is normal course of action. Pls dont look for any fortune in it. By the way they did not consider any fact like consultant while updating residential address
