Hi just a question for those who have landed and are about to land

I (main applicant) am planning to land alone without my family. My family will do their formal landing next year. Do I need to show the whole amount for Proof of Funding, or can I just show the amount of just one person? Also I was thinking of bringing the required minimum for 1 person in cash and the rest in CPF balance statement. Will they accept the CPF balance statement as proof of funding? I was wondering if its possible to use this instead, since I also used this as my Proof of funding during my application.

Hi,

PA could carry any amount of settlement which will be asked by immigration officer at this first time landing, if you carry more than CAD10K then it is required to declare otherwise no need but immigration officer may note down of you carrying fund in the first time landing against PR visa. Officer will not ask to any dependent for any fund carrying during their first landing. It is good to show much amount to carry in your first landing which are totally tax free in your future.

Please make sure dependent visa expiry date otherwise they can't enter to Canada if you calculate after one year time of their landing.

CPF is not acceptable to declare of carrying fund to Canada.

You don't have anything to be worried.
As per assumption, this delay is either for long queue or slow processing.

Does both PA and Dependent can endorse in their PP ? and the total is about their required minimum amount they need to carry .so only PA will declare the amount calculating both two's amount if it cross the limit 10K . Am i right or wrong ?

Yes you are right...
From BD point is, from travel quota form each travelers and CA point is, by carrying total amount of first landing against PR visa from PA (either single or along with co-applicants/dependents).

No update after the 2nd line, no verification or else as well...in current scenario it seems no time frame is accurate as each file is moving on differently..me and my two friends applied together, one in june another in july and then me in september, the june guy already got ppr request and his passport is now in singapore and his noc is same as mine...the july guy is still waiting for 2nd line, i believe his file has been transferred to manilla vo and his noc is 2172...

so three of us are now in different situations, but hopefully all will be good for all of us, so have patience good news will come on it's own time as per schedule

Thank you for your info. My friend did resubmit his photos on June 2nd , passport were submitted before with the Passport Request . His case was posted status to Decision Made already. But we did not hear anything from CIC yet. Next week would be a month from the day photos submission. My friend resides in Singapore. Anyone had the same timeline ? May I know how did we know that visa was issued? Ecas will show ? My friend is very worried Thanks all for your help. All the best to everyone
