what does this two means ..

in the note section it is written that
correction file to ML

what does this mean?

Hi ll14,

The easiest way is to read the GCMS backwards from the Notes section. If you start reading from the last note upwards, you will see the chronology (timeline) of the events that have happened on your file. Usually the last note (earliest stage) will be the creation of your status, update of your names and addresses, the scroll up to the latest note (if you have 3 people in your app, Note 1, 2 and 3) and see what stage your application is.

From what you have typed, Eligibility review is ongoing at VO (they recalculate your points, do background checks on employment etc). However, the best way is to read Notes 1, 2, 3 to see where you are.

2. Eligibility assessment( ministerial instruction)
Status:Met (CIC judged your application to have met the criteria for FSW 2014 - resulted in PER)


what does this two means ..

correction file to ML (is it ML or MI? If MI - it means something was corrected in your file to meet/not meet Minsterial Instructions)

28 Oct: AOR
4 Dec: 2nd line added... We started processing...
7 Jan: Medicals, PCC and photos request
31 Jan: 3rd line addef... Medical results have been received...
24 Mar: 4th line ... A decision has been made...
31 Mar: PPR and RPRF
1 Apr: PPs sent
12 May: Visas issued
28 May: PPs returned

It means your friend haven't passed eligibility yet. He may require an Interview, site visit or additional document request.
