Can anyone tell me how SPVO is working? It looks applicants having relatives in Canada are getting preference. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think so... It is very difficult to predict how and which way SGVO is working now. But for my intuition is they are working in two groups... May~Aug applicants are one and another one from Sep~Dec....

You are wrong. I have relatives in Canada and I applied in July. Now Sep- Oct applicatints are getting MR. But not update for me after AOR on 18 Dec 2014.

I think june and july application are moved to Manila VO. You should raise a CSE to get some feedback.

As we know, some fortunate ones have to go through no or little routine checking on the security part whereas there are the unfortunate ones who fall into the long-deep-cold cycle of in-depth security checking. Thanks for the info. Plus 1 for you. As far I know you have raised GCMS request twice. Was your security or criminality status "started" or "Not started". Please let me know, you and me are one of those unfortunate ones waiting so long.
