Today is 96th day since I get PER email. No e-mail from Singapore visa office. It's looking strange. I don't know why Singapore visa office is not responding. Do you any idea about this reason? The number of people applied 11,500 out of 25,000. There are several visa office of Canada in all around the world. How many application sent after PER e-mail in Singapore Visa office Huh Hopefully not more than 1000/2000. Thus why are they taking so long time? Why are they comparatively slower than other Canadian VISA offices in all over the world ? Do you have any idea?

I'm a July applicant and got AOR in December, but haven't got any other update, no MR no 2nd line. I'm worried as some August applicants have got MR request, but I'm just stuck. Don't know what's going o.

Anyway, I have been promoted 1 month ago. Now, should I inform SGVO regarding this? should I send the copy of promotion letter to them? Or I should ignore to inform them?

Please suggest me at your earliest convenience.

I have never been to outside of my country during application to FSW. Recently I have visited abroad. Should I inform d visa office abt update travel info? Should it requires to send hardcopy of updateed travel info application to SGVO mentioned in AOR?

I am a June 25 Applicant under NOC 1114 & still no khobor after AOR on 28/11/2014.

I think NOC 1114 FILES are locked at the drawer of SGVO Official,s & they have forgotten that there is also a NOC

We see that SGVO is now busy with August and July applicants. And most probably they have forgotten June & also some May Applicants.

If you have any news about June & some May applicants, please share here so that forum members like me may get a hope.

Should i still wait or send CSE/GCMS?

Story Starting Story Finishing:


It was actually Sep 2010 when I got an admission on Masters on a mid-ranking university of Canada (for fall 2011). On that time I was not aware that this is not the main hurdle I will have to face for entering Canada. Since, during application for student Visa, I got to know that success rate for student visa from Singapore Visa office is nearly less than 10%!!!

I made a lot of research for the careful student visa application. But I got refused mentioning that- I have not proved I have enough bonding with my home country (not sure abt the actual cause).

I was really depressed since I was expecting a lot about my career and did a lot of hard work with this visa application.

After that, my elder brother applied for Saskatchewan provincial nominee program (SINP-which is another PR program) on Jun 2011. After my application, this program turned into a slowest one ever.

During Jun 2012, CIC declared that they are not gonna open their regular FSW skilled category program on this year. They will introduce a new faster program on Jan 13 which was then shifted to May 13. Minister promised for several times that this program's application will be processed within a months.

I got myself optimistic and started preparing myself for this program (GT IELTS etc.). The program declared before 14 days (20 Apr 13) and many rules were very new like educational assessment/IELTS each band 6.0 etc. I tried to do every work within this time and dropped my file on the very opening day.

Initial steps like PER,AOR were clearing very smoothly. I was getting relaxed since minister's promise was playing on my mind....But after getting AOR from SG it was almost unbearable for me to wait for some news...

So things were not going in my favor...waiting waiting....No news....No update for any FSW13 SG applicants...

After waiting over 1.5 yrs I started prep to apply for my spouse's application from CPC-O on Aug 14.

Meanwhile I got nomination from Saskatchewan for further processing on July 14 (need to apply within Dec 14).

After this I got second line on ECAS (Oct 14) and I was getting anxious for MR....But alas, many SG FSW13 even FSW14 applicants were getting MR/PPR but no trace abt mine one....

Finally I had to know my MR news from GCMS report on Dec 14 (which was issued two months earlier) .....

[size=14pt]And now received Visa and CoPR on my hand.....


I know almost all other Visa office applicants are now on Canada from FSW13.

Even after this waiting of five yrs one thing I must say guys, patience can bring ur most desired achievements...That's what is my lesson.

I am sorry for the long writings, One message I want to deliver—that is- Don't lose hope....keep patience from ur heart....Have faith on God....U will get what u want....Since he is great!!!...He knows the best for u...

I sincerely show my heartiest gratitude to all of my brothers....sisters for their support....My painful waiting was converted to happy moments (seriously) passing with u....it feels me amazing, when somebody says that my silly suggestion helped him atleast a bit!!!

And receive my apology for whom I was not able to respond timely/correctly....Sorry guys....Dont mind for my behave, sometimes shortage of knowledge ....

I am a telecom guy....I know there are a lot of brothers/sisters from this domain....I may require employment support/suggestions from my brother/sisters (will not hesitate to ask to my family members, alright??!!! )....If I have opportunities then surely I will try my best in future too....

No worry Sister.

Somehow you may missed to receive your AOR from SGVO or it is in your junk/spam email folder. Usually 30~45 days take time to send AOR from SGVO. As per PER date you should receive your AOR by Mid to End of Jan'15. By this time VO already started review your file and could update to eCAS at least your permanent and mail address. Only question is if you apply by any consultant they might hold to know your AOR email because most of the consultant in BD doesn't want to share AOR email confirmation to their client.

You can check your application status through eCAS by below link by your UCI # or Flie # from your PER email.

 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 1 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold and let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about your last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

I can see my mailing address in eCAS from the day I have received my PER. After that no update.
Junk/ spam is clear as well. I haven't applied via any agency.
I have sent one e-mail to Singapore visa office to get any update about my application last week. Haven't received any reply.

Do you think I should call them now? Or should I wait for few more days?

I had to wait 110 days after AOR and got my Mr request on 3rd March 2015. Alhamdulillah!!

I am a June 6 Applicant...they are working Randomly ...I guess!
