Dear Brothers,

As you know my file is stuck and still haven't got any 2nd line update nor request for MR or haven't got any physical verification yet. To know more on the case I opted for GCMS on 25th January 2015.

I am writing to share my observations on my GCMS with you guys to get your thoughts in this. I shows:

ASSESMENTS

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Not Started

I thought of getting 71 Points with 4+ year employment. But had got 69 instead in their assessment and in which they have counted the job experience as 2 years reducing 2 points.

The last time they have updated my file on 10.11.2014 where the have made an entry stating:

The applicant has presented four letter from ..... Company dated: ......, ......., ......., ........

The only thing I find a bit interesting is as bellows

Eligibility Assessment
Status: Not Started
Status Date: 2014/08/27
Due Date: 2015/08/27

Security
Status: Not Started
Status Date: 2014/08/27
Due Date: 2015/08/27

Criminality
Status: Not Started
Status Date: 2014/08/27
Due Date: 2015/08/27

Medical
Status: Not Started
Status Date: 2014/08/27
Due Date: 2015/08/27

I am actually not sure what this due date signify actually. And weather I have to wait till 27.08.2015 to get any further updates....I dont know...But from this report I am unable to find any entry regarding RED FLAG on the officers mind relating to any issues. In the notes I only have found that they have reviewed my job documents initially but haven't verified yet. This was the initial entry before I have received the mail from SGVO.

So overall I am not sure when to receive any further details as I have found the last entry the have made was on 10th November 2014. And after that my file doesn't have any more things to say.

Brothers please let me know your comments regarding this and also let me know if others whom have applied for GCMS earlier have also got some due date as well in their reports or not.

Fingers crossed...Please keep me on your prayers..

Hi,

I went to studio for the spouse photo today. But the specification that SGVO sent is

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs.asp

which is different from the specification that we send initially.

Sgvo sent specification is 35mm x 45mm

But we initially sent at specification of 25 mm x 30 mm

Also SGVO asked about 2 copy of photo where as we sent 6 copy initially.

Should I raised a CSE regarding this?

Please provide expert opinion.

Hi Gurus!

Just got my GCMS notes and "Huston we have a problem!!!" Please see the notes quoted below: -

"Based on documents provided, I am satisfied that the points granted on the selection grid adequately represent
the applicant's ability to economically establish in Canada as per the selection criteria in R76(1 )(a). Financial
documentation provided satisfies me that applicant meets the required settlement funds as per R76(1 )(b).
Documents provided to evidence relative in Canada do not satisfy me that relative is actually living in Canada;
however, even without points for relative, applicant still meets selection requirements. Selection eligibility -
Passed Admissibility: - - · - Criminality - Require police certificates
as listed below.
Medica Is- To be started. NEXT STEPS 1) Send letter to applicant requesting: UK certificate for
applicant Updated Schedule As New photos RPRF
2) Medicals to be started"

My transcripts (sent to WES for ECA) shows clearly that I only stayed for THREE months during my BSC (Hons) final semester. I was staying at my relative's and do not thus have any document showing Proof Of Residency, this invalidates me to even apply for UK PCC. I can clearly recall that PCC was required only when you lived in a country for 6 months and more, in my case it's only for THREE months. What do I do now?

what document did you sent for relative. Is your relative actually live in canada. This will rise red flag if not.

My spouse's sister is in Canada. I sent copy PR card & mobile bill invoice. Yes she is in Canada & got passport about 5 months ago. Now what's a 'red flag' & what should I do for UK PCC?

Not sure if mobile bill is acceptable for PR holder as it doesn't give location of the user but with bank/credit card statement it gives location of the user.

Hi Bhaiya,

Yes you are correct that all applicants for Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visas, 18 years of age and older, must submit a Police Certificate from each country in which they have lived in for 6 months or more since their 18th birthday as part of the security clearance process.

And your case that WES has mentioned that you have stayed in UK for 3 months during your BSC final semester. And question is how long you have stayed all together in UK during your study that you need to provide by a certificate.... and how.

For my understanding either you should apply for UK pcc as you have studied there without wasting your time though your studying time were less than 6 months. Otherwise there will be confused to VO that you were visited/stayed there more than 6 months.

Other than there is no any concern from the GCMS NOTE.

Hope you will receive your MR + PCC request very soon.

Wish you all the best. :) :) :)

Dear brother,

Congrats as you have passed the major hurdle that is Eligibility. And about UK PCC you have a simple solution. Just wait for the MR to come. If they ask for UK PCC then send a CSE explaining your timeline in UK and also provide the UK entry and exit date from your passport and these dates will confirm that you lived in UK for only 3 months and thus do not require for a UK PCC.
