Today was the last day for withdrawing my 2014 FSW application from CPC-Ottawa VO (they have given 30 days option to withdraw my wife's file, since they got her another file in progress on SG). My wife has emailed to CPC-O to withdraw 2014 file today .... They have already replied that they are going to refund my processing fee...

I hd sent a enquiry mail to CIC on 11th Dec, 2014.
Few minutes ago I got the reply. Though I got PER on 21st Jan, 2015.

Below is the reply mail

"Good Morning:

Email was forwarded by CIO-Sydney dated 21 January 2015 to the email address provided.

Application has been transferred to the Visa Office Singapore."

Happy to know that my file has already transferred to the visa office.

Naughty CPC-O has recalled their initial email then sent an amended letter like below for my Spouse's Application withdrawal request... :


Recalled Letter:

"Dear client,


This is regarding your application for Permanent Residency in Canada with CPC-O.

Please note that this application will be withdrawn and we will start the process of refunding."


Final Letter:



"Dear client,

We will withdrawn your application but we cannot refund the processing fees.
The only fees that can be refund are the Right of Permanent Residence Fess (RPRF). The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa. In your case the refund of RPRF does not apply as you did not paid this fees."

Factually speaking SGVO is not really doing things slowly, they started much faster than required and now they are just slower than they started. Please check the timeline info in FSW 2014 spreadsheet (link below) and check the sheet named 'Avg Process Time' if your find your timeline exceeding that mentioned then: -

1. Apply for CSE, which is free of cost (link below)
2. If not replied within 10 days then raise GCMS, which will cost you CAD $30 (link below)

I raised a GCMS note so if you need further help please do revert.

Bhiya did u applied for GCMS notes? If yes then when? As we got same app rcv date so our GCMS update is important for both of us.
