Even worse, I am yet to submit my PCC, so I believe a request for PCC would come before everything else, which again seems to be taking FOREVER!

In my case i have worked with organisation in Mumbai, Gurgaon and Delhi. So that could be one reason that its taking time for verification. I have spoken to HR guys in the previous organisations, but no have contacted them for any verifications.
My wild guess is that the VO's want to keep a balance (in processing the files) among various NOC's and so may be the hotter ones 2174, 2173 for the time being not on priority.

Worked in the same company in the same city for the said noc but have lived and worked in the UK for 5 years
Have you lived or worked abroad .
