Hi

Can somebody help me with the abrivations some of us are usin? Eg whats eca 2nd line update and how do we find the status of our applications? Relatively new to these forums.. :'(

ECA(Educational Credential Assessment), but as per your post i think you meant ECAS

ECAS(Client Application Status): An official CIC service which allows to view the status of your application on-line. You can avail this service after you receive your PER(Confirmation of Positive Eligibility Review from CIO) email. To avail this service you need a UCI (Unique client identification) number which you will receive in your PER email. It takes about 2-3 months after application to receive your PER email.

My App was received on 22nd Aug 14.

I haven't yet received PER but the DD was en cashed on 25th November.

Could this be a reason for worry or ineligibility?

Any Idea on it buddy?

TRI what's your NOC?

DD being en-cashed means that you have passed the completeness check. Completeness check comprises of Cap quota for NOC, completeness of your application forms and documents provided.

Next step is your points being calculated, double checking for educational and employment requirements.

Due to the holiday season and depending on your NOC your PER might be delayed. As per trends on this forum, PER is usually received within 3-5 weeks after DD being en-chased

I would not worry, just keep an eye on your emails(inbox and junk). I'm sure you will hear the good news by the end of this year or the 1st week of Jan. Stay positive my friend ;)

Thanks for the motivation mate.

I have applied under 0112 NOC as my primary NOC.
Most of the august applicants are receiving file nos now. its been 4 weeks since the dd is en cashed.
Its worrying now...Trying my best to be positive.

I belong to Thane too. Currently I am in USA. I live in Bhaskar Colony. Nice to see people from nearby location. I am also waiting for Place PPR . I am 7th May applicant NOC 2174

PER received is also not bad... keep patience gchabs ...

... and before PCC request make sure you have your PCC from PSK ...

Hi guys i got a mail today mentioning the UCI no. But thy say they have a eligibility issue. Have score 66 insted of 67. Thy say it dsnt atand eligible and thy wont refund the fees and will also retain my docs.

Any idea what is this?? M terribly shocked. Pls help.
