How to get Police Clearance Certificate? Would that be required for my 3 yr kid ? Please guide

You can get it from the passport seva kendra or your local police station......not required for the child

Hello All,

My passport was issues at Hyderabad but currently i am staying in Bangalore for last 3 years, I need to apply for PCC, where do i need to apply
whether in Hyd or Bangalore. My consultant told that if we obtain PCC from any PSK it is fine as it was issued by MINISTER OF AFFAIRS OF INDIA and valid through out the world. Did anyone had ever faced this situation.

I have received MR on May-9
Yesterday i have mailed to VO that my my wife count complete medicals with 30 days of time as she was 8month pregnant and we are expecting baby in July and i got below reply from VO, Now my concern is
1) once the born is born do we need to complete the medicals and send reports along with baby documents or 2)do we need to send only the new born documents, So that Vo will send new medical forms for all members.

In order to allow us to continue you application you are requested to submit the following items:

-- a certified copy of your child's birth certificate along with its translation into English or French by a sworn translator;



-- 4 recent photos (35 mm x 45 mm, white background) for your new born child (for Photo Specification please consult http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/pdf/kits/guides/3910e.pdf Appendix B);



-- Specify height and eye colour for your new born child;



-- pay the processing fee for you newborn child in the amount of $150CDN (see Fee Schedule available at

-- copies of all pages of the child's passport

-- add your baby to the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada and you and your spouse should update the IMM5406 Additional Family Information form. You will find the application kit at the following website address:

Please note that upon receipt of all the items indicated above medical forms will be issued for your child. You both may wait and complete your medical examinations with your newborn child. Please note however, that all the other documentation requested in our previous email must be submitted within the original deadline.

At the end of the 30-day period we shall review your application and make a decision on the basis of the information available. We are unable to determine that you meet the requirements of the Skilled Worker program without these documents. Should you fail to comply with the above request your application will be refused. I am from hyd and living in bangalore from last 5 years. I have taken PCC from bangalore PSK as its my current address. You can take PCC from anywhere in India as it is Country based not state based.

i applied PCC for my wife in Hyderabad as she is in bangalore only for couple of weeks and she dont have any valid proof here. You have to show minimum of two proofs in bangalore PSK.

Congratulation Saurabh. My Timeline is as you but the difference is VO due to which you already reaching your final destination and we are still waiting for SLU and MR. Hope rest of your process move smoothly. Pray for us also.

can you please tell about your profession and whether it is a complete match with 1114.

i know its a little personal but pl. consider replying since am a little concerned on job duties.
