Got my MR today :D :D.....thanks to everyone on the forum.....you have been of great support.

Need another favor though, in the corresponding email with MR.....CIC has asked me to send three documents:

1. Photocopies of all pages of passport for all family members. Is this normal??
2. Payment receipt of RPRF fee.
3. Police certificate(s) from India for your spouse and must include former name. (Now i know that the passport office doesnt write the former name (before wedding) on the PCC so what are they expecting here? Do i need to go the state where she stayed before marriage and procure this? Are there any other options?

Another question to those who had their files transferred to WVO......where do we courier the physical documents? NDVO or WVO office address:

MAILING ADDRESS:

Immigration Section
Embassy of Canada
ul. Piekna 2/8
00-482 Warszawa
Poland

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

As far as your first question, its normal to ask for passport photocopies of all pages (old and new ones as well).
I did send for myself/Spouse and child with all pages including visa stampings etc for old and new passports. Its normal.

Thank you for replying, esttycan14.

Most of all, I want to move to Canada :) This is my main concern at the moment.
Having the PR is the best option, for sure, but the thing is that I have no idea when will it come and there's no way to be certain IF it'll come. If I wait too long and don't apply for a Student Visa, I might lose the opportunity and have to rely exclusively on my PR application, which is a little dangerous especially because I'm a foreigner here.

Anyways, I'm renewing my Visa and won't get my Passport back till the end of the month, so I'll give HK VO some more time to process my application. Let's hope 3 and a half months is enough for them ::)

Thanks and good luck!

In my opinion you'd better wait of HK's reply to your CSE; that being said, you need to set your priorities right, is it a student visa you want or PR visa; if it's the PR visa you want then you do not need to do your medical examination before the HK asks you to do so. This is because most VOs don't accept upfront medicals.

Why do we need to send them copies of the old passport? My current passport is 2 years old already, is it mentioned somewhere that they need copies of all passports even with no prior travel visas.

1. Yes you need to send scanned copies of all pages and all passports that you have.
2. Once you pay the Visa fee you will get a reciept to your mail. You have to take a print... fill in the details like DOB, UCI #
3. You can take PCC from local address, but there should be atleast one prooff on your wfies name. Like Gas connection/ passport on curret address/ Bank account with passbook. etc.,

You need to send all these documents to WVO not NDVO as your visa office is WVO. The address you can find in the signature.

My mistake here for the confusion, i dint use the right word to the context!

We donot need to send the old passport copies all pages when requested along with MR,PCC etc. At this stage its only for the new valid passport they request for all pages just to check the validity to see atleast 6 months validity is mandatory from stamping date! and should have atlest 2 blank pages for printing the visa. And it also helps them to see if any recent travel that had taken place.

PS: What i meant earlier is at the time of application, we can send photocopies of all pages of the old and new passport as a document during that stage.

Just received MR/PCC/RPRF email from WVO...

Thanks Raj.....+1 to you......I will approach the local PS as i have one valid proof with her maiden name but they are always so arrogant and refuse to listen to specific requests.
