I received the AOR email on 4th Feb. Appreciate the feedback on the below.

1. Is it true that the Police Clearance Certificates cannot be more than six months old? If yes, should I submit the police clearance now or do I have some more time?

Hi Mohit,

You can submit PCC when it would be asked during your MR email may be.
PCC should not be more than 3 months old when you submit it. Also PCC is valid for 1 year from the date of submission. So you can start working on PCC now as it would take some time to be made and when your MR comes you can submit it timely.

sorry folks to have been absent for sometime, i finally got a response from CIO on 24/03/2015 refusing my application on insufficient point i was assessed at 64 point on account of zero adaptability point awarded after a duely sent all adaptability proof and all marked in my document checklist i became very embarrassed and dissapointed but the mail said no attention will be given to new documents or information and i immediately made copies of all my relevant application forms, the checklist and all hitherto forwarded documents back to the case processing officer for a review, though the new mail had been recieved at nova scotia but am yet to recieve any communication neither were call to CIC going for now, i am very dissappointed. seniors pls advise where do i go from here my fee was not even refunded they claim my application have already enter processing. any hope or what other action can i take, i strongly qualify for that point and it wwill give me 69 in total.

Did that happened after receiving PER?

If yes then I don't understand why they are assessing your points at this stage?

If NO then they should refund the fees as processing starts only when you receive Positive assessment.

Others please comment.

There was a guy who was in quite similar position and he faxed all the facts and reasoning along with documents to fax number mentioned on refusal letter. If there is one on ur letter plz do try that channel by attentioning ur visa officer on ur fax

no name was stated, it was just addressed as the program support officer from the cio in sydney, no daytime address but a P. O. Box, meanwhile i sent the mail back to CIO in sydney, address to the PSO. thanks for youe concern, i read also about the reference case, i pray my case receive the same attention all this document were included in my application.

When to expect Medicals?
When Employment Verification Happens? Before Medical or After?
If interview things happen, where it would be? in Colombo or New Delhi?

we sahre same AOR date and also from CVO. verification happens before MR. you should get MR request by the end of this month. Interviews wont happen mostly.

Guys.... !! Couldn't believe..

I have just now checked ECAS, and found that my 2nd line has been updated.- "We started processing your application on 07-04-2015".. !!

Yesterday also I checked but there was no 2nd line..

I am a 3rd Nov applicant and recd by PER on 30th Jan, AOR on 18th Feb.( my timeline is also updated on left side) !! All the best to rest of the forum members too..

Just need help on couple of questions to know,
-if the 2nd line is updated does that mean , my background check is done ? or it is still running.
-As per the trend I have seen the MR is recd in next 2 weeks time of 2nd line update. Am I right. Kindly advise.
