FSW 2014 - November Applicants - Lets network here

Hi,

I applied for FSW under NOC 2133, and application was delivered to CIC on 07-Nov-2014. There is no feedback from CIC till date. Any suggestions on how to check status or follow up?

sorry to say but CAP fr 2171 was filled long back. Nov applicants have no chance.

But when my application was received.the cap was not shown filled completely

No one exactly knows what cut off date CIC considers while publishing updates. Statistical analysis indicate that status pertains to around two months old nos.

Advice u to call CIC and check ur app status. 2171 was a very hot NOC and many Oct apps have been returned back due to cap.

Have a look at the spreadsheet as well

Lastly create ur profile in express entry without wasting any time so that u don't miss the bus again

Today I Got an invitation to apply for the express entry and I am not sure what to do. I know that If I apply via express entry then my FSW application will automatically be cancelled correct?

Kindly suggest what you guys think is the best move in this situtation.

The decision actually lies with you as one application will have to be withdrawn. I guess EE will be faster my opinion though. Which visa office is yours?

Did anyone here that VOs prioritize Express Entry rather than processing application backlog from 2014?

According to promising conditions under the Express Entry (less than 6 months processing) I assume all VOs across the world should be focused on delivering the "PROMISE"?

I think I have already started feeling that as there are absolutely no news after PER. Also, if you look at the spreadsheet statistics you will see that there is slowdown starting as of Jan-Feb PERs.

Would be interesting to hear your opinion on this.

I believe this is not fair towards those applicants who applied in Nov-Dec 2014. They are announcing everywhere that they are accelerating the process by means of EE but it seems they are creating backlogs from the other hand.

I do not understand the logic behind it ....

I have a query for MR..when cic sends MR request do they give any paarticular date and place where tests need to be done? Also what all tests are part of MR?
