Just want to know
How CIC/VO do BG checks
DO they send any mail to employer or any other method?
The mail ID of my company that was on reference letter, has changed now
Is it a cause of concern?
Though i have also mentioned the cell no. of my line manager...

Any LVO applicant got inclusion of address. I am 3rd November applicant and PER on 29th of January but no change in address.

You have to be fully patient till 15th of April 2015 since upto this date it will be normal processing time and I think that prior to 15th of April 2015 if you will get the line in your ECAS mentioning that "We Started Processing your Application on...."

If even after 15th of April 2015 if you don't get this line updated in your ECAS, you should raise CSE through your VO webpage.

Dear Friends With the Blessings of Sai Baba I have received the PER today.
Can any expert please tell me the following:
1) There was no column to choose the Visa Office in the application form so I could not select a visa office .The PER mail also does not tell me about which Visa office my application will be sent to ?? How and when will I know about my Visa office ?
2) Seniors I have not yet applied for a Police clearance Certificate. I am in US currently Is It a good time to apply for a Police clearance certificate ?
3) What will be the next steps going forward?

Regarding query 2, I suggest you apply for a FBI clearance now, as it will take 16 weeks to receive the certificate.

You have to be fully patient till 15th of April 2015 since upto this date it will be normal processing time and I think that prior to 15th of April 2015 if you will get the line in your ECAS mentioning that "We Started Processing your Application on...."

If even after 15th of April 2015 if you don't get this line updated in your ECAS, you should raise CSE through your VO webpage.

I know that I have to be patient. Just checking as LVO is famous to be slow. Kingston vo is quite fast as "changeneeded" have second line updated whereas he is 13th November applicant with 0113 noc

Guys I am very happy to announce that I have received my PER.

My Timeline is as follows:

Application Date: November 10th
DD cashed acc to bank- Jan 14th
DD cashed acc to CIC- Jan 12th
PER- March 05
Category- 0121.

Now I would like to tell you a reason why my PER is delayed, might be it will help other people also. Guys I was suppose to receive my per between 3-7 of Feb, but did not receive it. I called CIC and got with the same answer what everyone gets that your file is in the process. On March 01, I came to know that WES(World Education Services) sent me an email on Feb 07 stating that CIC is not able to access your Credentials as you have not selected the report according to fswp. Also they send me with the link in which I was suppose to make one payment of $33. This thing was actually happened with some other fellow forum member also as he updated the same thing on March 1. So I just followed that link sent by WES, made the payment of $33 and now status of that report showed under process on WES website. March 5th in the morning status showed complete on WES website, and at night around 11:15 I got my PER. Guys please please do check your old emails whosoever has not received PER.

Hi:

I have applied under NOC:1123

Application Received at Sydney,NS: 04 Nov 2014

Last time I had seen on their website that 485 files accepted. 350 (approx.) under processing on 15/16 December 2014.

Still I do not receive my PER mail. Should I consider this as Negative or Wait few more days?

Can anyone please comment...
