barkaat, it means that your app received PER. now they will transfer your app to your LO and next in line is MR. LO might be asking for some addition documents, but it is not mandatory. now they are checking your background and references. congrats!

I want to share that yesterday I have received the MR from Sao Paulo VO. 1 month after PER received. Spreadsheet already updated.

Applic. Received: 05/11/2014
CC Charge: 08/01/2015
PER: 05/02/2015
MR: 04/03/2015

One piece of information I would like to share with the forum...

I was a Permanente Resident since 2009, but due to some circunstances I was not able to meet residency obligations and though my circunstances were of high importance to me and my family, both me and my lawyer did not believe it could serve to apply for extension under humanitarian and compassionante grounds, so I chose to re-apply from the scratch.

It did not come as a surprise but rather as a confirmation on how straight-forward and no-so-bureaucratic Canada can be when on March 3rd I get a call from the consulate indicating that they could not proceed with the assessment of my application as they actually could not grant me a right that I actually already had. Thus I would have 2 choices: request an assessment on compassionate/humanitarian grounds that could lead to a refusal or extension and second option to decline my PR status and waive my appeal rights to that status so that they could than evaluate my request.

On the same day I submitted my waiver and consent document and early morning yesterday they acknowledged its receipt and that I should wait for further notice. To my surprise less than 5 hours later I get the MR emails for me and my family. Way to go Canada!

Hi Barkaat,

Does this show as in 2nd line itself, as 1st line for all is always we received your application when we click on "in process". But as you are advising it seems 2nd line update only.

hello , i have sent my application since 3/11/2014 and no response till now , knowing that i sent it in July 2014 and received it back due to a mistake from my consultant in1/11/2014 ( the application was checked by the CIO IN SN).
MY QUESTION : WILL IT TAKE THIS TIME TO RESPOND TO AN ALREADY CHECKED APPLICATION??

I am getting job offer of almost double pkg. I got PER on 17th Feb. No AOR yet. Roles and responsibilities are same as current.

• If I accept, will it impact on my application?
• In case my new employer do not provide Reference letter, will it be ok? Is that ok if I don't tell my current employer about FSW process and CIC about my new job?

I got my PER on Feb 2nd, NOC 2281 and I selected New York as my visa office in the application form. No AOR or second line update as you say yet. Should I be worried ? Any one else with New York as their visa office ?

As some of you know, Mexico VO doesn't send AORs. But I checked my ECAS yesterday, and I saw that they updated it including my home address as an addition to my mailing address.

When I clicked on "In process" it remains that we received your application on xxxx.


Does this fact mean anything? Should I expect my MR soon?

1) Anyone got second line updated on ECAS...
2) will all NDVO files be transferred to some other VO..
3) Anyone researched about bridging courses to bag a better relevant job to NOC...?
