First of all congratz to everyone for receiving PER. I am bit concerned coz my application reached CIC on Nov 03, 2014...NOC 1212. DD Charged on Jan 08, 2015. No PER yet. Why applicants upto Nov 28, 2014 receiving PERs and not Nov 03, 2014. Am I out of the game. Plz advise :'(
I think u should try to communicate the same to the CIC agent, something may come out. At least if the agent will check the file and explain u of anything happening on your case. Just try calling them. Has your ECAS gone live? Goodluck.

Hi i have the very same question. I applied on late October but my parcel reached CIC office on 4th November. Since my payment mode was via Bank Draft, there is no way to know the encash date. They consider it as direct payment into their account. I have checked and double checked and I dont think there are any errors in my application. There is definitely no false information. That i am totally sure about. So am I still not getting any PER? I have put in around $1100 Canadian Dollars worth of Bank Draft into their account and I am not getting any response for them. Its not just the money I am worried about but also the whole immigration procedure, because a lot is depending on this. I just don't know what to do. I am feeling very upset.

The delay is not sign of rejection, is just that our files are being looked to critically. The more straight forward your application, the more easy to get PER. But when you are claiming points for relatives etc it takes more time

Dear tababa
Are u sure that claiming points for relatives causes delay in processing ?!!

The simplicity and complexity of an application determines how fast the processing will be.

You mean that if we have delay to PER that means our application might be dangerous or the points are likely to fail to meet their requirement?

They will need to check that you are related with the relatives and also ensure that you submitted all the required documents like copy of Permanent resident card, Utilities bill, confirmation letter from his employer. We have seen some rejection on this forum after the applicant CC was charge because the documnets he submitted for his relative is over 18months as against the 6months specify in the checklist.
