dear my application received on 14 Nov. I have also attached cheque of Citi Bank, Totonto and today bank told me that cheque still not charged by the cic. what should we do?

it takes longer for DD to me charged than ccs. i applied with cc, also nov 24th, and got charged on the 20th, so you can expect it one of these days....

Dear Waji, I hadcalled Citi Bank and after exchanging many calls and numbers of differant places atleast one of the customer care confirmed me aboout the DD status and by the way they call it 'World Link Cheque'. He asked me the cheque number (written top right OR down center of cheque/DD). And upon my confirmation he asked me the amount of the DD and drawn against whom??? Upon my confirmation of the data, he confirmed me that the DD was paid/ the amount got cleared on 21st January 2015 itself.

But I still don't believe, so I really don't know weather the info provided by the Customer Care of Citi Bank is true or not??

Seniors, any suggestions,..........SHALL I ASSUME THIS DD ENCASHED.........

Bank says that we cannot contact the international branch again and again and I should wait till Feb end.
I do not know whether 2281 is being getting charged or not.

Can anyone shed some information on this ? If I have to know whether I had been charged or not how can I do that ?

Is there any CIC number where I can get the status of my application ? if so kindly share with me.

It is encashed on 21 Jan as per bank..
