Hello Friends,

I am 13th November 2014 DD Applicant. NOC-2232.

Update from my side.
My ECAS came LIVE this morning.

Its showing " IN Process " and on clicking it " We received you application on 13- November-2014 ".

I know its Good News though the bank has not confirmed yet that the DD is encashed.
I will inquire tomorrow as Today is Bank Holiday.

HOw did you get ECAS update in this early stage, where I guess you don't have an id or reference number?

I have UCI (Unique Client Identification Number) from last year. And today iwas was able to see the information against the details provided using UCI number.

Below is timeline of my relative who is a Nov 1st week applicant:

NOC: 4214
App Submitted: 1st week Nov 2014
Payment Mode: DD
Payment Encashed: 6th of Jan 2015

sadly, you still are not safe, but be 90% sure that you will receive per within, probably, next ten days. in process means that they are checking your eligibility, that is if you meet 67 points. good luck, and let us know asa you receive per!!

My visa office is Warsaw, and on CIC site the average processing time is showed to be 5 IN WEEKS. DOES THIS MEAN THAT AFTER MY FILE WILL GO TO WARSAW I LL BE ABLE TO OBTAIN VISA IN WEEKS?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??

Hi Yameen,

ECAS First Line means that the application has passed initial document checks and the fees is deducted.
After that Case Officer will do other checks like IELTS Validation, ECA Report checking, Matching of job duties with NOC lead statement. Once everything is ok then PER is issued. In advesrse case NER.
Al tough chances of NER are very very rare.

Send an email to CIC for application status. They will reply after 60days.

Try to call CIC for UCI


Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
Call at – 0016139444000
Select 1 for English
1 for immigration
Call is being transferred to CIC
Then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

I got message from my bank "Rs.XXXXX.XX was spent on ur credit card om 2015-01-23 18:53:22 at CITIZENSHIP &IMM FSW." But there is no mail from CIC yet.

• How soon I'll get mail from CIC?
• How can I get confirmation about the payment?
• How soon I'll get PER?

Thats a good news +1 to you from my side..

It means your card is charged, and as far i know my consultant told me after charging one might need to wait for 2 months to get email and file no. if you are lucky you might get email from CIC in next 10 days..!! so stay patient till then..

they accept both , not an issue
