How he came to know if the DD is charged? When he came to know.

Called up bank and then requested for an email confirming the same.

Even mine reached on Nov 20,2014 at 2:24 pm for 2172 but no news as yet. Which Credit card you have and which country you belong too ? how you come to know about the charge ?

I am from China and i got the Bank Credit Card text message this morning. Which country you are from?

Here are my stats on my FSW2014 application:

Country Applied from: Pakistan
Visa Office Selected: London
Application filed on: 28 November, 2014
Application received by CIC: 04 December, 2014
DD en-cashed: Still Pending
Current Status: Waiting & Hoping

I am still holding onto the fact that the initial response might take 60-70 days, that would roughly mean that I will get to hear from them around 2nd week of March (after accounting for Christmas holidays, new year holidays and ofcourse only counting the business days).

Am i missing something ? should be doing something other than panicking?
Is it worthy to call CIC and inquire about the application status?


any help shall add life potion to my miserable 'I CANNOT WAIT' state.

nope, if your app gets rejected, they keep the money AND all of the docs. at least, that's what did with my last app. however, I read on some other thread, that one guy got rejected, but they returned his file to him . I don't know why they acted differently on these two cases, which seem to be same. :-X
