So, how many days would be the difference according to practical results? I mean what maximum number can seat instead of 1?

Do not think we can get that.. but a wild guess of 15-20 days considering the difference between DDs and CCs gets charged

We sent the file on the Nov 28th under 1114 NOC.

How we will know about the DD encashment. Do we get any alerts as such by email or text?

Charge Date: January 8, 2015

How come your application sent on October 16 reached to CIC weeks later? Which courier service was used?

I used singpost's normal services, it took unusually long to get their. For several days it was sitting in mpntreal. At one point of time, I almost thought I made a mistake choosing normal post. But it did finally make it!
