Hi All
Good to see the coordination of efforts by the forum members. My application was received at CIC Sydney nova Scotia on Nov 25th in 3111 category. A week ago we had newborn baby. Does anyone know the procedure to add the baby to the application?

Dear adding a new born is not an issue, don't worry, just gather all documents (Birth Certificate, Passport etc.) and payment according to latest payment form, and inform to Visa office immediately after getting PERalong with all documents and a covering letter. You may inform CIO, Sydney,NS via email and seek their advice for the time being.

See the thing is the NOC for the current job i am in is full, so now i am filing under another NOC which is still open.

So the questions are -

- 'Do I have mention all the work exp till date in the form or only the relevant one under which I am filling the application in??

- Do I have to provide the reference letter for all the work exp or just the relevent one under which I am filling the application in???

Pls reply ASAP.. need to sent he packt today itself....

Yes, you must mention all experiences even you don’t have reference letters. Attach a covering letter to explain the reasons why you don’t have ref.letters.

- Do I have to provide the reference letter for all the work exp or just the relevent one under which I am filling the application in???

If available for all provide all reference letters, pay stubs, contract, increment/promotion letter and each related document it strengthen your application.

Advice: Mention the primary occupation for which you want to claim points and you are sure you have experience in that occupation greater than or equal to 1 year during the last 10 years, further, also this occupation experience will contribute to your points equal to 67 or more. You can mention other experiences with occupations different that the primary occupation, there is no restriction. I hope I clarify all things.

I'm a first time user for this forum. My application was received on the 26th of november, noc 2281. Any updates on this. Haven't received any information since and I have been checking the number of applicants on the website but this has not increased from 430 for noc 2281. Was just wondering if there were any updates.

Any news would be appreciated.

I also sent my application on 11th Dec under cat 1212. I also had this confusion of OTP and clarified with my bank yesterday. they said that for those merchants who are secured will not be asked for one time password while doing online transaction. I have already experienced it when I did two transactions with WES for my ECA report, both times I was not asked for OTP while doing transaction.

Good to know about your application. I also sent my application with NOC Code 1212 which was received at CIO on Dec 11, 2014.

How soon we can expect to hear from CIO?

Include only the relevant work experience in Sch 3 form and the corresponding ref letters too.

My interpretation of new column, which is 480/340 as of today.

The new column means that:

480 - Completeness Check done + CC charged/in queue to b charged + all counted towards cap
340 - completeness check done + not all applications will be charged/some may b short on points + only some of them will be charged and would be included in the cap.

So effectively, 1123 may be, most likely, more than 178 away from the Cap.

Hope it explains properly.

I'm NOC 2281 as well, but from Oct 01, and I got charged in Dec 14. So, you may hear some news at end of January only.
And today they updated the cap, look again.

FOR NOC 2132

What I think, 207 are with completeness check done and payments forms sent to Finance department for fee collection which are there in another que.
And paralley these 207 applications are sent for elgiblity review (67 passing marks and NOC matching etc.) by senior officer.

Many forumites like sandeep7972, Dave123, Sunnynitian, (all applicants dtd. 24/09/14) have received their PERs (even 1st Oct, 14 app has received PER - new entry)
So 700 caps are upto 24th Sep by rough estimation.

PERs issued from 26th Nov to 17th Dec (22 days) = 700-624 = 76 i.e. 3.45 per day for month of Sep
PERs issued from 7th Nov to 26th Nov (20 days) = 624-532 = 92 i.e. 4.6 per day for month of late Aug
Assume current rate of 4 apps per day.


As quoted by other forumites in earlier posts, completeness check upto mid Nov would have been completed by mid Dec, 14.
and 207 pending applicants are from 24th Sep to Mid Nov (which is justifiable from 207/4 = 51.75 days and adding these 51 days to 24th Sep i.e. last PER date. It works out to around 14th Nov,14)

Still 93 apps to go for cap for NOC 2132. Assuming same linear rate of 4 apps per day from 14th Nov, 14
It can be assumed that NOC 2132 will be capped around 93/4 = 23.25 days from 14th Nov,14. (i.e. by 6th Dec, 14)

There can be one week of tolerance in above dates with above assumptions.
