Very Happy To Announce that my DD has been charged, as got the confirmation from my bank. I am very much thankful to all the forum members who supported me and guided me till this stage. Hope I will get the same guidance in future also.

My Timeline is as follows:

Category- 0121
Application received date: Nov 10th, 2014
Dd Charged: Jan 14th, 2015 as per the bank

Just to let you know that my credit card was charged this morning..... bizarrely at 6.30am Canadian time according to my Bank??

I posted my application on the 14th but forgot to add signed for when sending. I guess it got to CIC about the 19th/20th. Thanks for all the advice.

Hi Yogita,

I am from Mumbai, initially went though ABHINAV Consultants in Khar and had the worst experience. They tell you correct info cause you can double check it online, but they are very slow and because of them my application got delayed by 2 months. So i decided to send the application myself.

Also my complaint with them was that they told me information in steps so i had to go running back to them every time. I did my research and sent the file myself or else they would have delayed it by another month.

I am also in the same boat as you, application received at CIO on the 21st of Nov, my NOC is 2281. My payment mode is DD so i have no option but to wait. Completeness check for NOV applications have been finished in DEC. So we are bound to get charged soon!

My 2 cents: Hold on to your horses and wait until FEB 20 to get a email from CIC regarding PER or NER. Good Luck!!

I am NOV 20th Aoplicant and same NOC 2281 with DD mode...

I have not heard back yet from bank that my DD got encashed.. Hope to hear good news soon.. you too update if you get charged.

I oh so regret using a CAD DRAFT CHEQUE for payment. I should have used my credit card because now there is no way of finding out where in the process they are at.

Anyone in banking knows how to query is a draft has been cashed?
