Hi, post date on my CC billing statement is Jan 18. I'm from the Philippines so I am 1 day ahead. Could it be they charged it January 17?

Don't worry about the date there are few days after the encashment the banks transfer the information and the chargment is fisically done by your bank. So it maybe charged earlier this week. When you got PER you will see the exact day of encashment.

i got information from my consultancy that oct 2014 applicants for 2172 from india are getting charged now. Also,my canadian friend told me tat after applying from canada it takes abt 12 weeks fr the cic to reply and for india it takes much longer.So, i guess we need to wait bit longer.Mayb till jan end or feb month.

Anyways, if you get any information do letme know. Good luck.

by referencing Global Spreadsheet , if a person who has applied under the same NOC you have applied too and his/her method of payment is the same as you and his/her Application recieve date is after you and he/she has been cashed BUT YOU DO'NT, this will unfortunately %99 PROBABLY means you have been rejected.
for example by this theory all the 2172 applicant with CC payment who their application has been received before November 17th and all the 2172 applicant with DD payment who their application has been received before November 3rd and have not been cashed yet, would better to apply under Express Entry.

Well, according to information collected from various sources it takes about 3 to 3 n half months to get reply from cic on your application and it also depends from which country you apply. I suggest you wait till you get a 100% confirmation that your application has been rejected(email confirmation) and then only apply under EE. Anyways, its upto you. Even i am in the same boat. I am anxiously waiting for the results on my application. My mode of payment was DD 21st nov 2172. I guess CC/DD payment should be processed on the same day.

what is your idea ?

hope is always there, for CC they might get an issue regarding CC balance or transaction failure, then they might try after 1 week. For some people they were charged 20~25 days later. Even for DD encashment notification is not guaranteed. Many applicants received their PER even their banks still reporting no encashment.

My understanding is that you are in as long as no official rejection was received.

KEEP IN REGULAR TOUCH WITH YOUR BANK CUSTOMER CARE AND ASK REGULARLY AFTER 4-5 DAY ABOUT ANY ATTEMP FOR WITHDRAWAL .
