Same here Maverick. Just received same email from warsaw office. And just wondering when we will get MR.

Also can you tell me if we need to maintain required funds in bank a/c till visa grant. Any ideas??

Hey guys, it looks like i have received AOR email from warsaw VO. But can somebody confirm if there should be any other information other than some reference links in this email. It just says "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada on this date". Is that it? any guesses how long will it take before i get the MR email? Thanks

hahaha +1 for your id mate ....and yes you need to maintain the funds in your bank a/c. From what i have heard they could ask for six month statements to check funds.

But don't you think it's wastage of funds..I mean funds are lying idle for almost 9 months. In my case I have to show more than 11 lacs for family of 3. So huge loss in terms of ROI.

Any comments....or anyone u know who have been asked to provide statement at the time of visa grant.

How does a AOR mail look like and what information does it say ?

I have also got a mail from Warsaw but it just says information already known (as to -- your application was reached on...).
Is this AOR ?

Yes you can convert them to FD to get a higher interest or maybe transfer them to your PPF account.

I have received medical, payment and one missing police certificate requests via mail from paris vo on 12th of march. I have sent them 13th of march. but my status on cic still "1. we have received your application bla bla.."

does somebody update it once in a month or what is the use of a status link which is not showing actual status?
