Hi Guys,
My IELTS also delayed severely and my application reached the CIC-Sydney-Nova Scotia office on thursday (Nov. 6th, 2014). NOC =2173, certainly fearing capping for this occupation as last update was 425 but its stuck there since a good one month.
I also need some help on using this forum well. Finding lot of good content on the spreadsheet they maintain-FSWP 2014 Spreadsheet however do have more questions than answers on that spreadsheet.

I sent my application on 7th November through my lawyer.

Can anyone clarify if the applications are only sent through courier or mail or it can also be made online?

Since my lawyers have filed for it, they just confirmed me of the same. I have no idea of how do I get a confirmation if my application was received.

PR applications can be sent through either regular post or courier. PR applications are not done online and it's a paper application.

Ur lawyer is the one who has all the information. Ask ur lawyer to give u a tracking no of the courier, so u can stay informed on the application.

Right now, September applications are being processed. So make ur judgement.

Stay positive and calm for next 3-4 months.

So it means that if we forgot to add something or for any other reason our application is deemed incomplete and returned to us, we will not be able to resend it again since old FSW 2014 is valid only until 01.01.2015 and by the time we get feedback from CIC we will be too late to send it again under old FSW 2014 conditions.

Am I correct?

P.S. How can I add this timeline in profile as you have it? ;D

Hi guys

I am applying under NOC 1123. My courier status by DHL today (08.11.2014) says.. article picked up. I dont know what it means but can infer it means something positive towards the courier.

Yes what u infer is logical and therefore all steps must be taken to ensure a correct application.

When the case file comes back, there generally is a note with suggestive steps. That is what will give us a clue.

It is a dicey situation.

I wonder if anyone knows if yhey would deem it incomplete if only minor mistake in form has been done( for example wrong passport number or dependant type...) or only if you miss entire page or document from checklist?
