Oh So IT was the distinguishing factor....I am in to finance and would like to go for Canadian CPA while look for some accounting employment. Once we do some bridge training program and get the understanding of canadian tax laws, I guess at least we can eye for basic office job while pursuing Canadian CPA ::)

But current major obstacle..........No Second Line Update.... :'( Too much irritating and frustating :-[

Any update... Just keep posting some thing every other day else it will be hard to find this page in threads :P

Just got my 3rd line updated: Medicals have been received :). Full timeline on the left.

Now I'm just waiting for the Platinum PPR e-mail! With any luck in a few days!

Hello all,

Noc 0013 applicant here too. Glad to find this group.

Hi everyone,

Glad to find this page at last, I am also from NOC 0013 (Finance)...complete timeline on left side of my profile....Hoping to get MR by end of April 15 at its already too late.......100 days after PER and no second line update....

Dear Experts,

I'm finding difficulties in understanding the abbreviations like AOR, PER......etc :)

I have applied on same NOC 0013 by mid of December and received a positive response that my application moved to VO by 6th March.
Already take 1550 CAD from my credit card and got a UCI number.

Let me know what is the name of this milestone and what should I expect next and by when ?

Thanks to all of you and wish you best of Luck.

Thanks a lot for the advice, I was able to check the Status of my application using UCI and it's showing " In process "

It's via "Federal Skilled Worker Centralized Intake Office
Sydney, Nova Scotia "

Please let me know what does this mean ?

Hello PER means Primary eligibility review. Since you have already got a UCI means you are through their initial application check. also you are within the CAP of 0013. Furthermore now they will start your background checks, criminality checks, etc. within 30 - 45 days average you should get your MR. Don't worry, in case of any additional documents required they will get in touch with you

also that is centralized office were all the FSWP applications go first. after which they are sent to respective Visa offices depending on your locations.

Dears

I start to be worried from VO checking the JD, I have applied on NOC 0013 as telecom operation director in Multinational company.
Still I would like to hear the experience of the ones who got MR already, my PER received on 6th of March and my application sent to London VO.

Would you please share your experience and if interview is a must for this NOC or not.

Don't know why I felt I need to check and compare the JDs of others applying in this NOC.

Let's please try to make this forum more active although I my expectations that we are not much in this NOC :-)

From what I little I know, CIC doesn't just check your JD but everyone else's JD and for any kind of NOC. The questions they have in mind are 1) whether your job described in the JD is similar to what Canadian labor market is looking for as guided in the NOC description and 2) whether you really do what you claim to be responsible for in the JD. Whether or not an interview is required during the selection process is an interesting thing any applicant would like to know. Anyway, while it's always good to hear experience from others, a NOC with fewer applicants will not reach a population size, at least on this forum, meaningful enough to draw out a trend. Even we all believe in trends, the nature of this program is that each and every applicant is treated as a unique case for CIC officers to review. All the best.

Thanks for your reply, that's why I asked if anyone who reached MR stage to share his/her experience with the interview or his JD for comparing.

B.Regards
Wael

There is variety of occupations under NOC 0013 ( Finance, HR, IT etc) so you will have to find same field person to compare JDs. I was given points of one job under NOC 0013 while for second job on same designation I was not awarded points, I got to know this through GCMS notes. It means they are critically checking JDs.

May I know if you raised GCMS while waiting for the PER or after that? And for the job you don't get points on, are you personally convinced by their assessment or think that is somehow subjectively perceived by the reviewer? Just want to hear your views. Thanks.
