Im also in the same..i applied through noc 2172 still wating for a reply from cic.my cc has not been chrged yet.i think most of the 2172 applicant status are same when going through the posts.lets wait till get a good or bad news.bt the prob is waiting.i hate this i cant sleep wel til i get a result.nw it doesnt matter good or bad i need quick update abt my application.still they hav nt send any rejection letter or send my application back due to cap filled.so still there is positive hopes.

I do have 8 years of experience in SAP, played multiple roles as SE,SSE now working as Associate Technical Architect.

i have completed my Bachelors degree in EEE.

Now i want to apply for canada, but confuse on which catagory i have to apply?

my role and job description perfectly matches with 2173 but under employment Requirements it says

A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.

my role and job description not matching with 2174, as it relates to hardware, but under employment Requirements accepts electrical or electronics engineering.

you are giving me doubts now. ??? i will check again with the bank. which date did you receive the application back ?

I have not received the application yet, they sent it back on 2nd feb.
So probably it will take another 1 month to receive the application :-X

Actually I strongly recommend against calling CIC! From our own and some other reported experiences CIC seems to give conflicting responses which don't make sense at all. I have been more anxious and confused since we called CIC.

Wait...be patient as hard as it seems....whatever be the results...you will know soon enough!

Thank for the update Akash! So you didn't talk of the reason for them returning your documents! Any case...for me as long as I am not holding all my papers in my hand I won't believe it is over

I've sent the application for 2171 which was received on date 30/09/14 & received by MIKE. Still not got any communication after that. checked with the bank and they mentioned the DD is cleared between Jan 14-16, 2015. anyone with similar dates and details, got updates ?

some of the recent comments made me to take a trip to the bank and the info abt DD cleared between jan 14-16 2015 is wrong. that was a mistake from the bank person. sorry guys ! I'm also in the same boat !
