Hi,

I am NOC 2171 applicant dated 18th Oct.
Is there any hope for 2171 Oct applicants.
Seniors please update with latest statistics.

thanks.

Dear All,

My application reached at CIC on 20th October for 2173. But still didn't get my application back.

When can I expect it return back due to cap filled? Anybody have any idea?.

Also, I have sent Demand Draft , which will expire in March? what is the process to encash my DD.

Hi Mate, one of my friend's application sent on Aug 19 2014 reached Hyderabad (India) on 28 Jan 2015. Don't worry. They send a snail mail which takes more than 2 months to reach India.

Also, it doesn't depend on when you have sent it because, your date falls beyond the CAP filled date.

2173 cap filled announcement was done on Nov 13 2014. My friend's application was posted back on Nov 18 2014.

Cheers,
Prarthu

Hi Prabhu, Your Friend application returned for 2172 due to cap filled right . In this case I need to ask my bank to cancelled my DD as after six month expiry I won't be able to get my money.

Thanks bro. By my calculation. by 31st December'2014 it would be about 880. So try not to worry, you will surely be in. :) I really hope and wish you all the luck. :)

What is your method of calculating?(880?)

Application received 10/dec/2014.
Charged on saturday (31/jan/2015).
NOC 2172.
Charged 52 days after received by CIC.

Avg of 6 applicants per day for December due to spike = 6*22 = 132 + (% of unreported cases in SS = 66%) 264 + (Number of applicants in waiting till december update) 172+218 = 390 so grand total is 786.

Sorry it wasn't 880 :)

So you still safe bro.

Thank you for the explanation, but I disagree:
George stated elsewhere that the SS represents about 25% of the global files, so need to multiple the number by 4.
So, this would mean the number is ~918 - good chances by pessimistic approximation, but too close to the CAP for us to relax I think :(

I am more of an optimist :) and I think it always help to be one. 25% i think is too low of a % IMHO. Cause if you check the reported case against the actual applications 1/3 sounds about right.

You will make it bro, mark my words. :) And you owe me a party once you get charged. :P

YOU should consider that all applications that get charged(918) won't receive PER.
