Where does your opinion differs from kvirdi here? It looks encouraging, but I've had someone telling me he saw an updated CAP in Dec 26th close to 600 on 2172.. but I didnt see this myself to dont know what to think of it.

I am not sure what he meant exactly, but from his statement I did not feel he considered the fact that CIC was counting
the CAP of 18th Dec based on the applications accepted till around II nd week of Oct 2014.

Particularly bcoz of the dates he mentioned "18 Dec - 31 Dec "... Any how I said it is just my opinion based on his quote and may be he
was also thinking the same way but typed the dates incorrect.

Also personally I feel 2172 CAP count will be almost 95-98% full as of 31 Dec 2014 ( Last day of FSW-2014 program appln acceptance)
and all of you guys are in CAP.

2171 applicant here,Sept.12 received application.
This whole thing is going to give me a heart attack! Keeping my fingers crossed that we get good replies from CIC.If they would return our application(which I hope NOT) why would they make us wait for that long?! It's just not right.Emotionally stressed and mentally stressed already.URGH!

Dude I already got mine back Sep 2 NOC 2171. It was sent back by CIC on Jan 10 due to cap full.

What does it mean?Till Dec 26 they have received about 600 applications(both completed and Per-assigned applications)

Let me correct you
I think CIC announced the latest update on 17 Dec because it wanted not to have more application for some Nocs like 2171 and wanted some more application for some crawling Nocs like 0811,otherwise they fool themselves.They have some arranged programs for their immigration programs.So the exact time of updating is 17 Dec on at the worst one week before

I differ with your opinion here, the latest application whose CC charge reported in the FSW 2014 forum in 2172 before the final update of 12/18/2014
was of an applicant called "rahuldhawanFSW" . His/her application was received on 10/10/2014 by CIO-NS.

So in my view if CIC did not received 630 applications b/w 10/10 - 12/31 ( approx dates and no's ) , you will be in CAP for 2172.
Hope you understood my point here.I do not think global cap of 25000 would have reached by 12/31.

Note : This is my personal opinion only based on the forum updates , forum members might have various comments on this.


My opinion is no different than you. If you read my post, there were only 370 complete applications received by CIC as per 18th Dec 2014 update. Even if they have received 500 more applications (which is highly unlikely) between 18th and 31st Dec 2014 still everyone falls in cap limit of 1000. The only thing which can take anyone out of the race is incomplete application. In this forum, goodlucktocanada updated that he got his CC charged on 28th Jan 2015 for application received by CIC on 5th Dec 2014.

I am 4th Dec 2014 application but my mode of payment is DD which takes more time as compare to CC.

I hope it make sense and give feeling that everyone should fall under cap unless there is a big mistake from CIC

Guys,
You don't need to worry. As I posted earlier, my NOC was 2172 and my app was received on 3rd Dec. My CC was charged on 26th Jan. And the CIC page was updated 1-2 before 31st Dec and the cap was not reached for this. Hope this helps.

Dude I already got mine back Sep 2 NOC 2171. It was sent back by CIC on Jan 10 due to cap full.

Unfortunate to hear,but Definitely Allah knows better what is good for us.
