Why count of 2172 is under 100? I am going to apply under the same. Bit worried I have choose wrong CAP...

2172 is one of the safest NOC's and i did not understand why you are worried , it is best if you can apply under 2172 as chances of you being in the cap are highly likely.

International DD are valid for 6 months, nothing to worry about.

Hi all,

My application for 2171 reached CIC on 8th September. I have sent a Demand Draft and not Credit Card details. My DD is valid for 3 months only. I issued this DD around 2nd September. So are there any chances of my application gets charged before 2nd December 2014?(considering the NOC 2171 isnt capped before that )

If not, what would happen if the DD is expired? TIA

Thank you parrys198, I am from India and my bank is ICIC. I remember they have stamped it as Valid for 3 months. So is this for 3 months or 6 months? Pls help.

Hopefully,in the coming week we may likely have an update
and this will capture till 2nd week of July,2014.
So,we should be expecting good news from tomorrow,10/27/14.

KSA, no updates as yet from CIC, it use to be every tuesday but none from Oct 9th, have they changed strategy, first completeness check for the entire month like now (July) and then CC/DD charging for the entire month and then updating the CIC website.
I think they will for sure stop working on this scheme on 31st Dec and if its holidays then 23rd Dec and when express entry starts from 1st Jan 2015 no more Apps of 2014. Pls sugest

Since there is no ministerial announcement about a new closing date on FSW,we still believe it will be closing April.,2015.

Thanks for the update KSA but worrying factor is the no of Apps against NOCs, for ex 348 for 2171 and its same since 9th, so my query is how many apps have been approved for 2171 since 9th Oct. So is it 348 for entire July? hopefully there will be some update. Pls suggest.

Can we show Account Balance as Proof of Funds or do we need to show only fixed deposits.

How much we can show. Few are saying 10,00,000 INR and few are saying 2000 CAD is sufficient.
I'm planning to apply for total 3 members. Please suggest me how much i have to show and in which form(account balance or fixed deposits)?

Same case with me. I took it on 2nd Sep and checked with ICICI bank. They said validity is 90 days only. Can we send new payment form as an amendment by opting CC?

Even we are going to file application under 2173 in the first week of November. Waiting for my documents to be cross verified by my consultant. October was a lazy month with so many holidays in India, hence my filling of the application got delayed by atleast a week. I am bit worried but i guess so if it has to happen it will happen.

The count under 2173 still shows 425 total applications past 2-3 weeks. Hope so, we make it.

I have applied my canada application PR Federal Skilled Workers category under NOC 2173 & it has received by CIC, canada office on 16th Oct-14,
On CIC official website, till on 10-Oct-14, category 2173 count status was showing was 425, after that there is no change in the count & date also not modified.

1.What is proabability of getting confirmation or file number for this category ?
2. How count has been taken as 425 in the official CIC website, whether after receiving our file in CIC office via Courier or after releasing file number to applicant from CIC?
3.When we will get the confirmation on this..?
4.Last 5.5 month( May to Oct) it has taken only 425 application means, with in 6 days is there any chance of filling another 575 application?
5. How frequently CIC team is updating the count in the website as and when courier is received in their office..?
6. Since till 10-10-14, it was showing count as 425 means , till that day only 425 applications received.?
