Dear All,

My application reached at CIC on 20th October for 2173. But still didn't get my application back.

When can I expect it return back due to cap filled? Anybody have any iadea?

My application reached on 09,Sept for 2173. Didnt recieve it back yet. So I think its going to take longer for u to get it back. We have no option but to wait..

I am a 3rd Sept, 2014 applicant. I got a reply for my email I sent on 6th Nov, 2014. And below is the reply.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on January 10, 2015 as the cap of NOC 2171 has been reached. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

This now rests all speculations regarding any future prospects for 2171. The most important to note here is that my app was returned only last friday, i.e., 10th Jan, 2015. Dont know why it took more than 50 days for them to return my app after the cap fill. Anyway, it does not matter now.

This is strange bcoz i am sept 8th applicant and mailed CIC on Dec 1st and got reply on 3rd of DEc which stated: "Please be advised we have recieved ur application and notification mails will mailed at later stage". since it was capped on like 3rd week of november i should have got one such mail as above, but lets c..

Congrats Skhashmi Happy for you, Your wait for PER starts now.

YogitaDR: You need to keep informed your bank from whom you took the DD. They will inform you once DD is debited.
Once DD is debited, It will take 25 to 30 days to get your PER.
