Hello there,
I need some advise/guidance on what is to be done with question 7c on IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3 that talks about whether my accompanying spouse is proficient in English/French.

Now, My wife is proficient in English but then she doesn't have any IELTS score card to prove it.

So, that said, Will it be okay to say 'YES' (that she is proficient) and not submit the IELTS report and explain in a cover letter that i'm not looking at claiming points but just sharing the truth (not exact same words though)

Is this approach okay..?

Regards, NIKE_FAN.

No, you either say "NO" here, or provide her IELTS results.

Oops, I mentioned Yes and didn't submit IELTS. I meant was that she is proficient in English, but without her IELTS i have 75 points.

Does this cause rejection? Fingers crossed. ???

Am May 12th applicant and May 12th files CC is been charged these days.

I think everything will be fine with your application as your spouse's IELTS is not on the general list of mandatory supporting documents. You will not get points for her English proficiency. It would be a problem if it was principal applicant's IELTS missing :)

Hmm, Thank you for your reply. Lets hope for the best!
