Hello again,

Well, the spreadsheet is a record being maintained by this group, and through which the senior member who are learned enough can make out the trend which is going on currently in the issuing of the PERs and MRs and etc.

It also gives you a rough idea about how accurate we are, because if we have 400 members registered from a certain NOC, and total 700 PERs have been issued in that category(Yes this website is having that caliber), one can somehow judge the future of applicants and the direction the whole procedure is going in to.

and the points?
Technically it doesn't make any difference whether you have 67 points or 97,

Emotionally it does matter, because those accurately around 67 points score are more prone to failure than those at 80s and 90s. (the cases with 80s and 90s of points, sound stronger, though they do not get any extra benefits or faster processing).

But that should not be the matter of concern according to what I have perceived so far from this platform.

Hey Vishal,

Thanks once again for your reply.

I did manage to find the link for the spreadsheet and updated my details though there is not much to report at this time :)...

I am almost a month behind you in filing my application... so your status is going to give me an indication of my future too ;)...

I do agree with you that the self calculated total points do give some mental satisfaction, but there are always doubts in your mind as to whether you have done everything right or not. So we all are in the same boat till we hear from CIC...

Would you know if a birth certificate issued by CBSE is acceptable as a valid certificate... Thats what my husband has submitted (I am the Primary Applicant).... He could not manage to get the birth certificate from the municipal corporation.... this is one doubt that i have, hopefully all other aspects of the application are well taken care of....

thanks in advance.

Very true, looooooong way to go.. But, I am feeling so relaxed now.. The whole process of arranging DD, FD, JD, affidavits, reference letters, IELTS, WES, form filling, etc was really taxing. Now I know there's nothing much that I can do... So, it's good ;D

Anyway, I really hope you hear the good news from CIC soon :)

I agree its really a relaxing feeling.. it took me 2 months to arrange all the required docs. Specially wes requirements took most of the time.. but they completed the assessment well before the given date.. :)

Hope things go well for all of us..

Birth Certificate from CBSE ? CBSE issues Birth Certificates too  ??

Well, the Class 10th Certificate, with same name and DOB and same Father and Mother name, is valid, along with an Affidavit, according to the best of my knowledge.

But as you are the principal applicant, and not your husband, hence he is not claiming any points for age, and hence it should not be of very high importance according to the best of my knowledge, once again...

I guess this helps...

Dear vishal

I ve read the post of Thomas cook.. congrats to him.
he is 3rd july applicant..im 1st aug.. still a long way to go.. time passes slow when u anxiously wait for some thing :)

Since last 7 to 8 days july cases strted to get their DD encashed but pace seems to be very slow since thn. No update of received applications by cic since last 3 weeks is also becoming a serious concern

Still we r optimistic..best wishes for every one :)
