I am also a foreigner living in Beijing China and I got PR request to send to Beijing Visa Office (VFS). I need to consult you some queries

1. As mentioned about photo specification, we have to write our name, date of birth, Name and address of photo studio.
Query: 1. Can we write Name and address of photo studio in Chinese?
2. We have to write the above details only on one photo (each person though need to submit two photos). Me, my wife and my child all has to write the details in the back of their one photo or just I write on the back of my photo is fine?

2. Regarding the visa
Query: Which visa we have to apply? and what are the fees? where can we find this information online?

I expect your reply and thanks in advance.

I already started thinking our VO forgot about us. Good to hear PR have started. Can you please remind us of your timeline, thanks.

I think BJ usually 2 weeks if i remember correctly but you never know i think.

For your questions i am not an expert but safer to write on each photo and in english, you can add explanation what the name is in chinese.

I am not sure iunderstand the visa question.

Hi Kanadjani,

Nice answer and hope it will be helpful for MIKE. By the way, we are alomost in the same time line. I am also waiting for the PPR or Decision made. It seems we have to wait approximately 4 to 4.5 months for any decision from HKVO. Patience is virtue!! Lets hope for the best. Keep us informed if there comes out any news from your side.

I thought i should share too...i just received an email from my agent also that they are asking for my (our) passports! I can't believe it! My hubby just had his re x-ray last Saturday and now, PPR! May the Almighty continue walking with us all!
