This is no reason at all to say that DD is better than CC. What if the clerk or the officer continuously enters the wrong CC info? That way the CC transaction will never go through. I used CC but DD is the more secured/guaranteed form of payment.

To Add few more Points.

1. What will happen if your card is stolen and you wanted to block it?
2. What will happen if you accidently buy something for more $$$ and your CC runs out of balance?
3. What will happen if your CC date is expired and got a new card with new card number?
4. What will happen if your CC does not allow any foreign transactions?
5. What will happen if the clerk accidently type wrong CC details?

Exactly!

whether it is DD or CC, all applications were received already :) . Paper work method is no longer valid as EE has an online payment process.

Dear 2172 Applicants,

My documents was received on 15th of December noc code 2172. however, according to different tread of this forum, its seems like there will be very little chance for us to get through with this NOC code.

Is it true noc code 2172 already fillup with the november candidate? anyone have any update regarding this NOC code 2172? If you have plz share

Get some comment on november fsw thread one of them as follows:-

by referencing Global Spreadsheet , if a person who has applied under the same NOC you have applied too and his/her method of payment is the same as you and his/her Application recieve date is after you and he/she has been cashed BUT YOU DO'NT, this will unfortunately %99 PROBABLY means you have been rejected.
for example by this theory all the 2172 applicant with CC payment who their application has been received before November 17th and all the 2172 applicant with DD payment who their application has been received before November 3rd and have not been cashed yet, would better to apply under Express Entry.

what is your idea ?

What you quoted refers to situations where YOUR application was rejected for some reason, while his CC was charged.
If cap was full, the later applicant in that example would have not been charged either, we would see that for example for 2172, CC/DD charging has stopped progressing.

In fact, here is another quote AFTER that guy, in the same thread you referred to:

Hi all,

My CC charged on 15/1/2015.
NOC: 2172
Application submitted: 15/11/2014
Application received: 20 or 21/11/2014
LVO: ND

So, look at the positive and NOT the negative hope!

Also, someone there (again) mentioned not to register to EE while in FSW application pending.. why? is someone trying to lower the amount of competitors in the EE pool? lol...

It seems that all of the December applications completeness check is over. Those whose applications were not complete, their applications would have already been returned and similarly those NOC whose cap is over their applications would have also been returned back to them. Because I have even noticed on the main forum that one person whose application reached CIO on 22nd December, got his application returned. And the in the cover letter with returned application it was mentioned that his completeness check was done on 2nd Jan 2015. So, after 2nd Jan till today further 17-days have passed, so it seems that applications received from 22nd December till 31st December have passed through completeness check already during this time.

If someone has information contrary to what I explained above please comment.
