Finally got my RFV letter today morning.. very happy to reach a big milestone in the journey.. I am Nov 2014 applicant and PPR on 5th Jan 2016..

While the party has started, the next step is a little confusing for me..

Being in US, I am unable to get a Canadapost express label created as the site doesn't have any options available. So does anyone has steps or something to get the return label generated from canadapost site?

I believe the options are available to get the return label from FedEx/UPS as they have this below detail mentioned in the RFV mail,

<Quote>
If you have a mailing address in the U.S.A.:
- The self-addressed, pre-paid envelope should be arranged with a courier that delivers between Canada and the U.S.A.

Ottawa office has been wild with the ppr lol.

Looks like we are only few left. I hope we won't have to wait till next month to get the rfv email.

I like this statement. :D COngrats buddy.
Getting 1 day off is tough with my current boss too, asking too many questions and too much work, what the hell. Good punching statement gives us brisk morning. ;)
Enjoy :D. Dont forget to eat lot of deserts as part of celebration, enough of dieting for the next month, at least i have this plan when my turn comes. :)

You are very next in line FreeAs_aBird :-)

Hey, Diplo,
Your wish for FreeAs_aBird has resulted in an RFV email within few hours
Wish me luck, please! :D

Hi guys,

I received my passport from Canada Post yesterday (05/01/2016) at about 8:30 pm local time in Newfoundland.

I intend to do in-canada landing and will update you on the process.
Regards.

Dear AliMo,

He is a November, 3rd week applicant, your application has been lodged on second week of December, so there might be some waiting in line. But not much, since they have visa numbers (quota) now and will process all apps before March, 31.

I wish you to receive RFV in the most expedite manner!

Hi Diplomatru,

Seems they are not following the app. order exactly. Of course, it will be good if everyone can make it eventually, even the end of March :)

But still curious how do they decide which applicants get PPR right now, and the others have to wait for a few more months. Is it all random?

I think most of people's cases are almost completed. Right?

haha~~ I guess I asked a question with no answer ;D

Thanks,

Thanks,

fsqsunshine, they make decision based on the date it was sent for the review of Assistant Director, which can only take place when all assessments are cleared out. Since BG checks for some applicants take longer time, they might end up in the end of the queue despite the fact that they have submitted their respective applications earlier.

Thank you Diplomatru,

The endless waiting drives me crazy >:( So many plans are delayed.
The last thing want to confirm. From my last notes, everything shows passed (Except security is blank), and the file location is APPEARS RFV. Date is March,31, 2016.
Does this mean security process is passed as well? If not, it should not be APPEARS RFV, correct?
Because it is blank, it is hard to tell what is the result.

Thanks a lot,

I would advise to proceed via VAC in India, because otherwise New Delhi VO will return the pp by regular mail.

I have a vac in Mumbai. Do you think i can approach them without getting any confirmation from cpco?

Its a messed up situation!

Thank You
Ritvik

Yea. But since VAC staff doesn't know jack about immigration visas, request the manager to call NDVO if they refuse to send the passport (they have a phone number). You don't need CPC-O permission. Stamping can be done at any CIC office.
