No not at all, I and my wife with our two kids successfully landed, no question on POF and I did not even come with POF because it is not of the list of documents required.

CIC website clearly mentions this information on the "Prepare for arrival" section of their website:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/arrival.asp

Not checking Proof of Funds is on border officer's discretion. But the stakes are too high for most of us to not take this seriously.

Thanks my friend.

This is surprising. You can go ahead and send across the PCCs - you may enclose a copy of MR request mail and a note stating that you are sending PCCs because they were not enclosed with initial application.

Hi All,
Just wanted to share with you that i landed and became a permanent resident on 14th June.Everything went smoothly. The officers didn't ask for anything like POF, goods accompany or goods to follow etc but i was prepared with everything anyway.

After staying for 10 days i drove down to US and it was also a breeze.

Concern: My only issue with entire process is that my canadian address is still not apperaing in ecas.Ecas status changed to complete after three days of landing but address remained as US address,When i called CIC they assured me that they have my canadian address on file and that everything is OK. Did anyone else encounter this problem? Any thoughts?

So kerdek is out of the waiting list now ..it's freexyg, slteacher, myself, fsqsunshine, rs12 & alimo waiting now ..best of luck to everyone hope this Monday Tuesday brings good news to everyone !!!

Kerdek got MR 87 days from PER while all of us waiting are over 100 days. At this point, I don't believe that early to mid Dec applicants are just left out. There must be something with our application that cast doubt to the officers that may require for them to do more research or verifications. Or they are undecided whether to accept or reject our files but whatever it is I will accept the outcome wholeheartedly. I still keep whatever hope left alive but to be more realistic the more days/weeks we're hearing nothing means the less chance we are getting it.

I don't think this is true....

Earlier everybody used t get MR in 40-45 days and had to wait for 2-3 months to get PPR. Now we get MR 90-120 days or may be more and get PPR in a week or two...

So don't jump to conclusions.... They don't reject applications so easily at this stage (after the PER) unless you have a severe medical condition or criminal history....

Thanks for that link it will help others not me though I have landed. I have not seen this link before. Since I did not receive separate info with my package I called CIC and they sent me an email of documents I must carry to the border for landing on that list I did not see POF. But it's better to be prepared though as you mentioned because I know they always ask in some boarder.

For me it doesn't really make sense asking me for POF because I have lived in Canada for 3 years now with my family without government support.

Received my passports and COPR today. Actually the tracking said it was attempted delivery on saturday and notice was left, but there was no notice, went to my local post office today and picked the package.

All the best wishes to all waiting for MR, PPR !

Awesome! Congratulations!

I landed on 27 June 2015.

Today, I called Service canada about SIN Card.

They told me I cannot apply for new SIN number until I receive PR Card as I am
living in canada since more than 90 days ?

anyone have similar experience ?

I will recommend you to visit their office. I received my SIN number just after the day of my landing going directly to their office. It took me only 15 minutes. Officer was super fast. She just asked me about my passport, COPR letter and old SIN.

The website says PR card is required if landed more than an year ago, otherwise CoPR should be good.
