hey SLTeacher, 4 months to be exact after the PER and waiting is on. Heart starts beating faster with the slightest alert from the phone. Checking the emails almost every moment, Checking the eCas status as frequently I can, imagining/visualizing very hard to see a second line. On a positive note wait keeps the hope alive.

Yep! living on hope fumes right now. I used a different email address for CIC than my regular one and on my phone I have assigned O Canada as my ringtone for that mailbox. My ears are begging to hear the national anthem

I was wondering of applying for GCMS notes but since it's going to take 1 month to get them then i feel the other way around ..anyone among the MR waiting folks applied for GCMS notes and received them ..what do they say ..where is the stuck up ??

Hi friends,

I found my passport envelope under the help of Canada Post investigator. Someone covering a shift on Monday delivered it to a totally wrong address...

No panic now.

I have never dreamt I will end up getting my passport like this. I will land on Saturday.

It can't find my file. Weird. I can log in to eCas but this app doesn't seem to work for me.

Marlee, try the UCI number if the app number isn't working. Make sure to select the right category (UCI, App number, etc) if you are using the Android version. Don't know about the iOS.

I don't think your cases have been stuck. They have been just sitting idle on the desk. They will flush all the cases together as soon as they start looking at it. Mostly everybody will get Mr after that. I wish it happens soon. Waiting for Mr is toughest.

You might want to try calling cic. i got DM on saturday 20th and got PPR email on sunday 21st.

I have a question after reading my CoPR: there is a mistake relate to my original entry date into Canada. It says the second time I came to Canada when I finished visiting home in 2012. Actually, my first date of entry should be one year earlier in 2011, when I start my program here. Is this a big problem?

I hate to send it back to CPC-O to correct it.

Just read ur post. If I were you I will not return it but mention it during landing and the immigration officer will correct it and update on the system as well.

Yes. Do so becos from some of the CIC OP manual I have been reading. Amendments can be made during landing, especially with the list of siblings you submitted as thats the final opportunity to update b4 signing the doc. Any person not declared them will be excluded from future family sponsorship.

If you return it to CIC for corrections. Only God knows when you will get it back. Lol!

Yeah, I just contacted a friend who had the same problem. He told me the officer at the boarder doesn't care about the first date of entry. He just landed and applied for amendment after becoming a PR.

I think each of us can be an immigration lawyer after this process. OMG.
