More likely three weeks. What's your timeline?

hey Dip, its a very good thing to help people asking questions on this forum...especially at no cost at all. God will continue to bless you man. When your time comes, I shall celebrate with you big time - You are indeed a TRUE vip member of this forum, dedicating time and effort on here isn't easy at all my Ottawa people - Lots of people who got their PPs with visas have disappeared...maybe except Goku(respect) and few I dint mention. Infact this dude "pdhillon" who started this forum have disappeared after months of panicking and raising alarms here :D :D - My apologies, no one is perfect!!!Respect 8)

Wow, bat001... I can't stress enough the fact that I appreciate your kind words in my regards. Thanks a lot! I will probably stay here until all remaining FSW-2014 applicants are processed, since I don't have any knowledge related to EE. Hopefully, we will see each other in the Citizenship thread in 4 years =)

+1 cheers

@diplomatru - Need your expertise. I received my RPRF, PCC request yesterday and MR today.
I still do not see a 2nd line update - Does it mean that some processing is still pending?

What happens between Medical received to PPR process??

Cic will update 2nd line when they receive your medical results. Not now.

Security check and other possible further verification

Really? I though that was only if you've been living here as a permanent resident for 4 years..... ::)

1) processing is pending until PPR
2) 2nd line will appear withing a week. There is a certain lag

Citizen calculation changed in 2014, you can not anymore accrue time in Canada under TWP,OWP,BOWP and study permits. Only time as PR counts.

I am aware of the change in rules and there is one which states that 1year (used before PR landing) is equal to 6months (for eligibility)...well ofcourse if the law/rule has changed and they are yet to update it on cic website (also calculator)..I still calculated it last month and from someone's experience I know - The number of time accrued for eligibility will also be determined by immigration officer

As per their website, 2years is very compulsory to use after landing (for inland applicants only)....However 4years presiding the date of your citizenship application would be used ONLY to determine your eligibility...What they are trying to say is that if you lived in Canada legally for 2years and then became PR the 3rd year, you are eligible the 5th year. So depending on what time during the 5th year you decide to apply, your 2year (before PR) maybe counted as 1year or even less (depending). But most inland people eventually use 3yrs after PR. Eventually an Immigration officer decides if there is any conflict about it.
