Hey Guys,

I posted this question before but I didn't really get an answer.

What does it mean by my file is still at CIO. I was told that transfer began on January 30th, 2015 previously but was told currently that it's still with CIO. Does it mean that it was already transferred to Ottawa but hasn't been looked at yet, therefore it's showing as with CIO? Or is it really at CIO? It doesn't make sense to me that files transferred outside the country is quicker.

my file reached Ottawa on Feb 3, 2015. CIO sent it Jan 23, 2015. So it should be the same with you, the thing is my file is still sitting at the what so called FSW-registry in OTTAWA maybe until now. They haven't open mine yet.

How did you find this out? It took approximately 10 days for yours to get to Ottawa so mine should have reached around the 10th of February. What I'm trying to understand is why I'm being told it's still with CIO :'(

Stats time - As per excel sheet, a total of 7 people reported the PPR from CPC-Ottawa on 2/13.

4 out of 7 are 2171 - IT Analyst

Expect PPR soon, if you're 2171 - may be, may be not !!

Any idea of ways to get FBI Clearance Expedited?
I got both China and India in less than a weeks time but even being in USA, FBI is taking hell lot of time.
For China PCC, need an accredited translator which I guess should be done fast.
I got my 3rd line updated as well. Only FBI in the way now.

Waiting is your only option. You can try writing an email to them by attaching a copy of CPC-Ottawa letter where they are requesting FBI clearance by a deadline. But then, there are many in same boat as yours.

hmm I got my GCMS notes yesterday with updates until Feb 11.

My application reached on 22nd May 2014
Medical/RPRF/UK-India PCC submitted - 23rd Nov 2014
US FBI PCC submitted - 4th Feb 2015..

Still no PPR request.. I saw some applicants are later than mine (22nd May) even with RPRF/Medical late in Dec 2014, still they all got PPR email...

Guys any feel why it is getting so late....?

Hi Rahul,

Did you get the 3rd line ECAS updated? Also PPR request varies from case to case and on the Case Processing Officer. Nothing to worry. I believe you will get PPR request by this Friday or early next week. Keep doing what you are doing - checking mails/spams.

In btw, how long your FBI clearance took?
