So, they are checking our Schedule 3 now. That's why they sometimes ask for further information, as they did with our friend Diplomatru.

My report was requested on Jan 3rd and generated on Jan 5th.

What do you want to know exactly from the report? It is 51 pages long

Completed my landing today. First did vehicle export at US customs. If I had all documents handy it would have been over in 5 minutes. But it took about 10-15 minutes for me, because I had to go back and forth to my car to get additional documents. Officers on the US side were very condescending.
On the other hand officers on the Canada side were very pleasant and helpful. The landing process, vehicle import and form B4 took a lot of time only because they had to do a lot of data entry, but it was very smooth. They did not ask a single question. They did not even ask me for proof of funds. They simply took my passports and CoPR and started processing it. Then I completed form 1 and went back to complete the vehicle import and also submit form B4.
I am now a happy and free Canadian permanent resident.

I have some questions regarding landing and finding an accommadation, i hope you can clear to me and to forum members...

Did you pay tax on your car for importing to Canada?
Where can I get information on importing car and other goods to canada ehile moving on PR?(Any website/forum?)
How did you find accommodation in canada (Website / forum to find roomates?)
Whar are documents to carry to complete landing formalities?

I hope you have fair idea on these doubts.
Can you pease let me know, so that it will be easy for us to move to Canada?

Hey, Ganesha. It was generated on Jan 5th, but it was just delivered to me on Fev 3rd. It stated that the next review on my file is due on Feb 16 and that the Security and Criminality checkings are still In Progress. Fingers crossed for news!

Mike, have you received your notes yet? ATIP sent me another set that I ordered on Jan 11 for another file.

Nothing yet, not a peep, a squeak or an email from CPC

My status was updated last Friday but no PPR yet. As I see in other cases all people get PPR first and then status is updated. Is it normal that Decision made status is updated on the application status but no passport request ? Any other person facing similar situation ?

Great news. My tracker is activated.

CPC-O received passport on 2nd feb and expected delivery is 14th feb.

I live in California

I got an email from CPC-Ottawa. I have been asked to provide proof of funds. I did not submit my bank statements with my initial application as I am working full time in Canada (non-LMIA job). I submitted my paychecks and job letter.

Should I reply back mentionaing I am working full time in Canada or should I just arrange the funds, any suggestions?
