Some good news for late July/early August applicants!

Today I received my RPRF and PCC request. Isn't this weird I haven't received the Medical Request but the RPRF ? I thought RPRF will be sent out by CPC after the PCC and MR

ECAS still showing the first line only!

below is my time line:

Application Filed: August 5, 2014
PER: November 26, 2014
PCC & RPRF: January 7th, 2015
MR: Pending

Good luck everyone :)
The emails are usually minutes to hours apart.
I hope you get it soon.

Mine was updated in a week and a half. Please ask your doctor's office when the actual results were uploaded.
I did not have to go through the extension but there are several who have asked and pardoned by CPC-O. However, it generally takes 12-14 weeks so please mention that to CPC-O. Also, when sending the application to FBI, some people indicated that they printed and included letter from CPC-O asking for FBI PCC and their request were expedited. I cannot vouch for their statement but it's something that I definitely look into.

Thanks for your note. In fact as per the doctors office, they uploaded the results on Dec 26....having said that am yet send the medical acknowledgement from my end. Not sure if that has any bearing on the online status to be updated ?

My fbi request is in process as we talk so any opportunity of adding CIC notification is definitely ruled out ... Thanks !

As I understood, correct me if I am wrong, the doctors office uploaded the result but you have not yet sent medical receipt for the examination.
I would advise you to send RPRF (PDF printed) receipt and medical receipt from the doctor's office and courier them to the address mentioned i the RPRF email.

ALSO, I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO ASK A COPY OF THE DOCTOR'S EXAMINATION RESULT TO VERIFY EVERY DETAIL INCLUDED ARE CORRECT, INCLUDING UCI #, FILE # AND SPELLING OF NAME AND ADDRESS.

Does anyone know what happens to Indians living in the US at the PPR stage from CPC-O? I understand that we cannot send our passports out of the country. Is it easy to convince them to stamp the passport at a local consulate in the US?

A lot of Indian citizens have successfully overcome this barrier yet it still remains a mystery.
I do know however that yo can authorize a person to carry the passport in their possession and take it out of the country.
Now, having said that, I still am very hopeful that CPC-O is well aware of this issue and will provide Indians a way to smoothly transition through this process.

:P

Yes, that's right. Sure I will have those to be shipped to them right away; do you still feel that's the reason for the delay ? Thanks

They just check if the company exists using google! They never call any employer even within Canada.
How can you have possibly known this information? Unless you are sure of any information, I would refrain from posting it in forum.
Please let us know what your source is pepe84.

If I wasn't sure of this, I wouldn't have posted it here. I have a friend whose reference letter was rejected because the VO couldn't find information of the company online. My GCMS notes also say that my company from back home was contacted online. I asked my old supervisor and they never emailed/called her. Given this info, we do not need to have a degree to reach to the conclusion that they never call any boss/supervisor.
