So what after PR?

I have changed the sin and informed employers. I know will have to inform Health care folks. What else do I need to do?

Also, what threads are you guys (diplomatru et al) are following for keepin up with future in Canada?

Much appreciate :)
Any change in e-cas buddy?
By the way, if you currently have health care and card why you need to inform Health care folks?

Your health care card has an expiration corresponding to your TRV. It won't automatically become indefinite.
And no change in Ecas. Does that matters tho? I checked cuz you asked.

I personally scan and archive in chronological order all information pertaining to my residency in Canada (bills, pay-stubs, insurance, medical history, boarding tickets, etc) and use an excel spreadsheet to accurately count all days of absence and presence. This way I can ensure that the application for Cit. will have 100% accurate and verifiable data when the time comes.

You should forget about ecas. Your journey is complete.

Thanks Roozic and Diplomatru. +1 for both of you.
Rozic, Do you know the process to change the health card and make it indefinite?

What about CRA (Canada Revenue Agency)? Do we need to inform them as well?
Also I think we may need to inform our banks as well. Specially if you have a TFSA, because I remember for TFSA they asked for SIN number.

If you applied for a permanent SIN, Service Canada will notify CRA on your behalf.

That's correct. When I changed my SIN, service canada told me that even for filing my tax for 2015 which should be done by end of April, I should use my new SIN and my old and new one are connected.
