Dear friends,

Today late evening, I have received my passport with the most beautiful visa in the world ;D along CPR. My passport reached CPCO at 06/02/2015.

I will visit this forum irregularly to answer question/s (if its to my knowledge). May be some of us will also meet in Canada !!! :)

Congratulations..... And Now His Watch is Ended

Are we supposed to send photographs with passport? I was not asked to send any and I keep seeing questions regarding this.

Some VO ask for it but some VO do not need it..
NDVO definitely asks for passport pics while issuing a visa bit CPCO ottawa does not ask for any pictures..

hi

i send my application in 2011 but got married in 2012 but did not mentioned it because i thought the law said you needed to live with your spouse for 12 months at least(we lived 08 months together), i had a baby in 2014 and updated my file as a mother but did not include my husband as i am in canada since 2013 as a student . my daughter was born in canada last year.

cic is asking me for my personal updates what do i do ? please help me?

CIC tells you to immediately tell them if there has been any change in your relationship status legally..
you should send them the details by filling in a new form and sending the legal documents of your wedding if you want your husbands case to be processed with you !!

Hi everyone,

After 10 years of trying to get PR, my family and I are now officially Permanent Residents of Canada ;D
I still can't believe it actually happened after such long, rough and painful years. I feel like I have achieved the biggest milestone in my life.

We did our landing at Toronto on Sunday. It was a smooth process. The entire process with the immigration officer took about 15 minutes. The wait in line was about 45 minutes. The officer did not ask for any POF or other documents. We just provided the B4 form and that was it. The officer said that our PR cards will be in our mailbox within 4-6 weeks. Yesterday, we applied for our health cards and SIN.

I will like to thank everyone from this forum for your support, guidance and advice. You guys really helped me calm my nerves and cleared my doubts ;D

I wish everyone continued success with your journey to Canada and hopefully CPC will finish process all 2014 applicants soon...All the best!

If anyone will like to ask me any questions, feel free to send me a PM.

Whether you want your husband's case to be processed with you or not - I think you should tell them your current marital situation & about your child "immediately".

I think be honest with them, just send them the details requested with proof of marriage - marriage certificate and new passport copy with spouse name(if you have it). Also, send your child's passport and/or birth certificate copy to them showing name of parents.

Congratulations!
