No MR/DM/PPR in the last two days ..Ottawa guys have again gone slow ..come On guys friday is about to finish !!!

Just received my passport!!!
Canadapost tracking still shows it has arrived in foreign country (US).
USPS tracking with the same tracking number shows it is at the local post office.

Lol!
Anyway I am happy to have the stamped passport in my hand!!
Party time!!

Congratulations.Does getting Visa and COPR changes anything in ECAS or does ECAS still shows DM?Also, can you tell me who signed your passport package at cpco.

No it does not change the ecas status, it will be updated as complete when u do the landing.

I would like to draw your attention to my former post:

Hello Everyone.

I also applied for Canadian PR through PhD stream category (NOC 4012). I sent my application in early November, I received my file number early February, and I sent my Medical early May.

A couple of days ago, I noticed that the status of the application has changed to Decision Made. But since I did not receive any email from them I called them yesterday and shockingly, I learnt that there is apparently an email which was supposed to be sent to me on May 27 (that I never received). So the guy on the line told me that he will request a resend and also I wrote an email to them to notify them about the case.

I was wondering if anyone else here has had a similar experience.

And also the CIC clerk told me that the Decision was positive. Do you think I should send my passports now or should I wait for their reply?

I dont think you should send your passport to them unless they tell you to do so(Again this is my opinion only...you are the decision maker). Try to call them again & explain the situation (thats what I would do rather than sending the passport before being sure).

If you are using courier, then you should use the courier address(e.g. fedex, dhl, usps etc).

Usually, they only ask for passport & the paper copy of RFV email(N.B. If u r residing in NA, then they also encourage you to include a prepaid Xpresspost label from canada post. Remember CPC-O never sends out passport outside NA ).

You can browse through the previous posts on this great forum to ensure the info I provided. I hope it helps.

I will be landing tomorrow at Niagara , i am under implied status since CIC has not started processing my WP application, will this create any problem for me or is there anything else apart from PP, COPR, POF that i must take wid me
