Finally got the mail this morning.Immediately created the EST profile on canadapost and send the passports from Chicago.Hope to get them back soon.

Question abt landing: i filled Edmonton,AB in my application but now i m planning to land and stay in Toronto.This should not be a problem at all, right??Or does this fall in a grey area meaning it depends on the mood of the landing officer?? I don't want to take any chances with this so please let me know your views or if you have any examples from your friends who did same thing.

You guys are all generally on PPR ..imagine all the VO have sent MR to December applicants other than london VO ..I can't understand why does CPCO taking so much time it's close to 80 days now since PER ..

I had to wait ~105 days.... I know waiting sucks but we dont have any other choice. You will get it..... Have a great weekend !

mr: 1st april
3rd line 17th apr
ppr: 22nd may

Please let me know abt the second question that i had about staying in a city other than what i gave in my application.I know i can land anywhr except quebec but is it ok to tell officer that i would be staying in toronto now and not going to edmonton at all?

Hey guys. It has been a while since I posted, so I wanted to drop by and give an update.
We completed our PR landing on the weekend of May 16th at Peace bridge (Buffalo and Fort Erie).
We drove to the bridge, showed our passports and COPR to the border immigration officer and were told to park our car and head to the office inside.
We waited 30 minutes and our turn came for immigration processing. The immigration officer was just absolutely awesome. She was very calm and assertive and gave us so many great information on further processes. Her whole demeanor was very much welcoming. It was just a pleasant experience overall.
After 45 min into the whole ordeal, we completed out landing procedure.
We had following for the immigration procedure:
1. Expired and new passports
2. COPR
3. Canadian Address printed out. (address of my relative in Canada)
4. B4 form (goods to follow list along with pictures of jewelries). the officer made copy of the form and gave us one copy.

The above documents were all that were needed for us.

We spend our weekend at Niagara area and then head back to USA the next day.

Canada is just awesome.
Glad to be on "The Eh Team".

i think october applicants who got thier medical request in April are luckier than the others, they got things moving!!
the disappointment is when u open the email and find nothing. one thing i realized that most PPR arrive after cpc working time, don't know why

Yes dear,
I explained it b4 here
First u need to reply to CPC-Ottawa requesting visa stamp in Cairo
Then print RFV mail, sent mail to CPC-Ottawa & automatic reply u got after sending email
Two photo of each person + table includes height & eye color
Call DHL they will pick your passport and deliver it to Canadian embassy in cairo
U can get the address & telephone no. From the website or keep it to DHL they will take care of the rest"
Finally inshallah within 10 days u will get ur passport back with most awaited visa
