Interesting point ! though my rprf email says 60 days but medical email says 30 days... .

My rprf just said asap. It didn't mention any deadline. MR said 30 days.

I am also wondering how this works as my email says 90 days... :-X

Hari, if you compare our timelines, they are similar until pr and then i got MR 24 days after you and hence we might have different deadlines. So basically you are one of those who got early or timely MR and some of us got/are getting MR after 90-100 days from PER

No idea.I havent received PPR mail so far.Only DM shows in ECAS.

Hello Guys,

I had sent an email to CPC-Ottawa 40 days ago to update my address and sent a follow up email too a week ago.

However i have still not heard anything from them.

What should be my course of action? Is it normal with CPC-Ottawa?

I would call CIC and ask the Agent, they are able to see into your file & verify the address. SO call them and you will know within few minutes

I tried calling CIC yesterday and I was told that a new rule was introduced where they are not allowed to go into an applicant's file to see their status. We'll have to depend on ECAS for our updates. Don't know if he was trying to get rid of me or if it's actually true.

I called yesterday, three times the automated message that there is no officer available and hang the line but the fourth time I was able to talk with a nice lady who told me the details of my file, but as the 28th of April call, we received everything and everything looks fine and your file is on final review stage but this time I asked since when it is on final review and she said 24th of March.

Two month in final review I want my PPR this week CPC-Ottawa. I want to book the flight and arrange for my trip

Lyn, when I called one time I heard the same story, after two days I tried one more time & I didn't ask them about the status of my application, becouse they can say to you that status you can check online. I asked to check id required documents were received and depends of person she/he can provide you with more info like: are screenings completed? Is it send for Final review? when was it send?

So from my own experience it depends of the person on the other side Don't give up

i think he was trying to get rid of you ...i had a talk with a lady yesterday and she did check my file..
unluckly you met a stubborn attendant i guess..try today hopefully u'll find someone nice you tells you the status..

i called twice ..and they asked when my file was received and when was the last correspondence they sent me ..and finaly told me that they will not open my file ....and another one told me to call in the second week of june....so that they can open the file...so it seems that it depends on the timeline or they r expecting it to get finished by that time...who knows?

I have RK6165 too and looking at this, I dont expect PPR in next 2-3 months....

I pray that we received the RFV email until Friday. if not, at least in the month of May! I think this RK6165 was the same assistant in Diplo's case. oh no!
